We come before the throne of grace with this urgent plea for healing and deliverance, lifting up this dear sister in Christ who is battling insomnia and spiritual attacks affecting her eyes and head. We recognize that these afflictions may be the work of the enemy, who comes only to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we stand firm on the promise that Jesus came so that we may have life, and have it abundantly.
First, we rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, insomnia, and affliction in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Word declares, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says the Lord (Isaiah 54:17). We command these attacks to cease and declare that this sister is covered by the blood of Jesus, which cleanses her from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7).
Heavenly Father, we ask You to pour out Your healing power upon her. Your Word says, "He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions" (Psalm 107:20). We claim this promise over her life. Lord, restore her sleep, bring peace to her mind, and heal her eyes and head. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also encourage this sister to examine her life for any open doors that may have allowed the enemy to gain a foothold. Are there areas where she has not fully surrendered to God? Are there unconfessed sins, unforgiveness, or involvement in practices that do not align with Your Word? The Bible warns us, "Do not give the devil a foothold" (Ephesians 4:27). We pray that she would walk in repentance and holiness, putting on the full armor of God so that she may stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).
Father, we ask that You surround her with Your angels to protect and minister to her. Let her rest in the shadow of the Almighty, where no harm will befall her (Psalm 91:1-10). Strengthen her faith and remind her that You are her refuge and fortress, her God in whom she trusts.
We pray that she would draw near to You, Lord, and that You would draw near to her (James 4:8). Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, who is our Comforter and Helper. Let her find solace in Your presence, where there is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11).
Lastly, we declare that this sister is more than a conqueror through Him who loved her (Romans 8:37). We speak life, healing, and victory over her in the name of Jesus Christ. May she rise up in the authority You have given her as a child of God and walk in the freedom and wholeness that Christ died to provide.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
