Prayer Request- New ### Movie

Disciple of Prayer
I just ran across this online- ### has started filming a new movie, "The Resurrection of the Christ", it is a sequel to "The Passion of the Christ". We need to hold this movie up in prayer! It should be spectacular! Also once it comes out we should all take a road-trip to a theatre and see it! I got a strong unction to pray for this movie! We should agree now!

Lord God we lift up this new movie "The Resurrection of the Christ" to You, we pray that Your hand of blessing would be upon this movie! We pray for wisdom for ### as he directs this movie, we pray that You would show him what to do and that this movie would be pleasing to You! We pray that the spirit of wisdom would be upon him, we also pray for Your anointing to be upon ### and that the movie director anointing would be upon him, we also pray that Your anointing would be upon the actors and that the actor anointing would be upon them! We pray that Your power and Your presence and Your anointing would be upon this movie and for the salvation of everyone who sees it! We pray that Your presence would be on the set of the movie, we bind all evil spirits on the set of the movie and we release angels on the set in the name of Jesus! We also pray for the salvation and good health of all actors and all those involved in the production of the movie! We also cancel the assignment of the enemy against this movie in the name of Jesus! Thank You God!

We join with you in lifting up this film, "The Resurrection of the Christ," in prayer, for it is a powerful opportunity to proclaim the truth of our risen Savior. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of our faith, and any effort to portray it with reverence and accuracy deserves our support and intercession. We pray that this movie would be a vessel for God’s glory, touching hearts and drawing many to the knowledge of the truth.

Father, we ask that You would indeed anoint every person involved in this production, from the director to the actors, the crew, and all who contribute to its creation. Grant them wisdom, discernment, and a deep reverence for Your Word as they bring this sacred story to life. May the Holy Spirit guide their decisions, their words, and their actions so that the final product would honor You and reflect the power of Christ’s resurrection. We declare that no weapon formed against this film shall prosper, and we bind every evil influence that would seek to distort or hinder its message. Instead, we release Your angels to minister on the set, creating an atmosphere of holiness, creativity, and divine inspiration.

Lord, we also pray for the hearts of those who will see this movie. May it not be merely entertainment, but a catalyst for salvation, repentance, and transformation. Let the truth of the resurrection pierce through darkness, bringing light to those who are lost and hope to those who are broken. We ask that You would use this film to draw many to Yourself, that they might come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. For there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is only through faith in Him that we have access to You.

We also want to encourage those who are excited about this film to remember that our ultimate goal is not just to be entertained, but to be equipped and inspired to share the gospel. If the Lord leads, gathering together to see this movie could be a wonderful opportunity to invite others to experience the story of Christ’s resurrection. However, let us always keep in mind that our mission extends beyond the theater. We are called to be ambassadors of Christ, sharing His love and truth in our daily lives.

Let us also take a moment to reflect on the significance of the resurrection. Without it, our faith would be in vain, as the Apostle Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 15:14: "If Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain, and your faith also is in vain." But Christ has been raised, and because of that, we have hope, hope of eternal life, hope of victory over sin, and hope of a future with Him. This movie has the potential to remind the world of that hope, and we pray that it would be used mightily for Your kingdom.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the opportunity to pray into this project. We ask that You would bless it abundantly, that it would be a tool for revival, and that Your name would be glorified through it. May all who are involved come to a deeper relationship with You, and may those who watch it encounter the living Christ. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, for He alone is worthy of all praise, honor, and glory. Amen.

We love the energy behind this request, what a gift to feel that kind of holy excitement about something that could touch so many hearts. It reminds us that when God's people pray together, even before a frame is filmed, we're already partnering in something bigger than ourselves. Your desire to see this project covered in prayer and to stir others to do the same is a beautiful thing.

We're with you in lifting this film up. It's moving to think of the cast, crew, and all the unseen hands preparing to tell a story that centers on the hope of the resurrection. So we'll pray alongside you, asking the Lord to guide the creative process, to protect everyone involved, and to turn hearts toward Jesus through what's made.

Lord, thank you for this fresh reminder that you are at work in the arts and media. We lift up this movie to you now, the director, writers, actors, technicians, and every person who will spend long days on set. Grant them wisdom, safety, and a sense of your presence. Guard them from harm and distraction. We pray that this project would bring honor to Jesus, that it would be crafted with integrity and truth, and that those who see it would be drawn closer to him. We trust you with the outcome, knowing that you alone bring the increase. In Jesus' name, amen.

Let's keep praying, and when the time comes, we hope your road-trip idea takes off, it sounds like a wonderful way to celebrate together.

The unction to pray for the spread of the knowledge of our risen Lord is commendable, and we ought ever to seek the advancement of His kingdom. Yet let us take heed that our prayers fix not upon the instrument, but upon the Master whom the instrument purports to serve. Salvation is of the Lord, and it is the Holy Spirit's office to glorify Christ, not by might nor by power of man's art, but by the foolishness of preaching. The resurrection of our Lord is the best attested fact in history, and the power of it is not in a spectacle, but in the Spirit's taking of the things of Christ and showing them unto us. Pray therefore that the true Christ be set forth, not an image graven by man's device, lest we exalt the works of flesh and put the doings of man in the place of the blood and righteousness of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We may be quite sure that the doctrine of salvation by faith in Jesus Christ cannot be opposed to the work of the Spirit of God, for never, without blasphemy, can we imagine a division in the purposes of the adorable Trinity. Yet the great object of the Gospel is to create men anew in Christ Jesus; it aims at resurrection and accomplishes it. The process of education and everything else, apart from the Holy Spirit, is a dragging for dead men, to lay them out decently in the order of death, but nothing more can man do for man. The wheels of providence can be so arranged that salvation shall be brought to the outcasts; even war, famine, and plague, may become messengers for Christ, for He, too, rides upon the wings of the wind. So the Lord may use this motion picture, if He so please, but our trust rests not on a director's anointing nor the skill of actors, but on the arm of the Omnipotent, on which the pillars of the heavens do lean.

Pray that God, who is rich in mercy, would quicken souls by the Word, and keep us from resting on anything save the finished work of Christ. If this film directs men to the Scriptures and to the Lamb of God that taketh away sin, we may rejoice; yet the ultimate perfection of salvation is of the Lord, and He shall see to it that Christ is glorified. Be much in prayer, but pray with understanding, that Christ may be all in all, for the Holy Spirit shall not speak of Himself, but He shall take of the things of Christ, and shall show them unto you. I pray that every burdened child of God may see more of Christ till he has seen his full security in the Person of the Well-Beloved, and not in any human endeavor.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

I see your enthusiasm for this film project and your desire that many might be led to faith through it. But consider carefully what the Apostle teaches: we must lift up holy hands without wrath or doubting, for if we harbor any bitterness while making intercession, we thrust a sword into our own soul. So before you pray for a work of art, examine your heart. Do you pray with the same mercy God shows, who makes His sun to shine on the evil and the good? If you ask for blessing, you must also be ready to bless those who may oppose this film, not binding them in anger but entrusting all to God.

You speak much of binding evil spirits and releasing angels on the set, as if the kingdom of heaven were summoned by our commands on a theater production. But remember the true meaning of binding and loosing. Christ gave that authority to His Church not for vanquishing imagined spirits in the air, but for the salvation of souls: "Whatsoever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven." And this binding is not done with proud declarations, but with tears and humility, seeking to restore sinners. The power you invoke is real, but it is exercised through the preaching of the word and the prayers of the faithful, not through incantations over a filmmaker’s work.

Consider too that the word of God is not bound. The gospel ran across the world when the apostles were in chains, for it is not spread by human spectacle but by the living voice that proceeds from a holy life. If this movie leads some to seek Christ, give thanks to God, for He uses even imperfect vessels. But do not imagine that salvation comes through a film. The great salvation we have is not rescue from earthly troubles or the entertainment of the senses; it is deliverance from death, the destruction of the devil, the kingdom of heaven, everlasting life. How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation while chasing after images on a screen?

I do not forbid you to pray for the conversion of those who will watch, nor for the health and salvation of the actors and crew. That is a good and right request. But let your prayer be joined with thanksgiving for all God’s mercies, and let it flow from a heart that forgives every offense, that you may be heard. Do not presume to direct God’s anointing as if it were oil poured out at your command. Christ ever lives to make intercession for us; it is He, the true High Priest, who saves to the uttermost those who come to God through Him. His intercession is continual, not a special anointing given to a director or actor for a project.

So, instead of binding spirits on set, bind your own heart and mind. Put to death the unruly passions that rage within, for they are more deadly than any external adversary. Then you will see clearly how to pray with humility, that God may use this film, and far more, the quiet witness of faithful Christians, to draw souls to the light of His truth.

It is encouraging to hear of a burden to pray for any effort that aims to present the resurrection of Jesus Christ to a wider audience. The resurrection is indeed the very heartbeat of the gospel. As the early apostles preached, it was the undeniable fact that God raised Jesus from the dead that formed the foundation of their message, giving us a living hope. So to desire that this central truth be powerfully portrayed is a good thing.

Yet let your prayers be guided by the full counsel of God. The power of the resurrection cannot be separated from the cross. Jesus had to suffer and die before He could be raised in glory. If a film only shows the triumph without the depths of His suffering for our sin, it misses the mystery Paul spoke of, that we must be conformed to His death to know the power of His risen life. Pray that the story told remains true to the Scriptures, not just a spectacle, but a clear declaration that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures and rose again the third day.

Remember also that the unsearchable riches of Christ are not ultimately entrusted to moving pictures or human artistry, but to the foolishness of preaching. A film can spark curiosity, but it cannot replace the Holy Spirit’s work through the Word. The effectual, fervent prayer you mention indeed avails much, so pray not only for the protection and skill of those involved, but that the gospel message itself would be undiluted, and that those who see it would be drawn not to a movie, but to the risen Lord. Pray for laborers in the harvest, that the church would be ready to explain the hope that was shown on the screen.

And as you pray, do not be bound by location or circumstance. Just as Paul, though a prisoner, could still work mightily through prayer for the churches he loved, your intercession for this project reaches the set and the theaters long before you do. Lift up the hearts of the director and actors, that they might grasp the gravity of what they are portraying, not as a story of mere history, but as the power of God unto salvation for everyone who believes. Ask that the peace of Christ would rule on that set, and that any spirit of error or distraction would be silenced.

Ultimately, whether this film is made or not, the message marches on. Christ is risen indeed. That fact has overcome every scheme of the enemy from the empty tomb until now. Let your prayers be for the sake of the elect, that through every possible means, including this film, sinners would repent and be converted, that their sins may be blotted out. Keep the main thing the main thing: Jesus Christ, crucified and risen, the firstfruits of those who will rise from the dead. Press on in prayer toward that mark.

We are so grateful that you shared this burden with us and allowed us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for the upcoming movie, *The Resurrection of the Christ*. What a powerful and timely request—to see God’s hand move mightily through this film and for His presence to saturate every aspect of its production!

We have continued to lift this project before the Lord, praying over the director, the actors, and every person involved in bringing this story to life. We have asked the Holy Spirit to anoint them with wisdom, creativity, and boldness to portray the truth of Christ’s resurrection in a way that draws hearts to Him. We have also prayed against any spiritual opposition, binding the enemy’s attempts to distract or distort the message and releasing God’s angels to guard the set and the hearts of those working on it.

If you’ve seen any updates or breakthroughs—whether in the filming process, the cast, or even a sense of God’s peace over the project—we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice together! If the battle still feels ongoing, please don’t hesitate to post this request again so we can keep interceding with you. This is a movie that could impact countless lives for the Kingdom, and we want to stand with you until we see God’s purposes fulfilled.

May the Lord continue to bless you as you seek Him, and may this film be a tool that brings many to know the power of Jesus’ resurrection. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
