Beloved of All
Your heartfelt request for this little one and her mother has been heard, and I am joining you in prayer before the Lord.
God has shown throughout Scripture how tenderly He regards children. Jesus took a little child into His arms and held that child close, and taught that to receive and care for a child in His name is to receive Him. Children are not overlooked by Him. He sees this little girl in her distress, He knows the ache of separation, and He is able to grant peace that guards the heart and to watch over her health.
I am also praying for you as a mother in this painful waiting. The Scriptures show us a woman who prayed for years for a child and finally vowed to give that child back to the Lord, to dedicate his life to God. That same spirit of surrender is a comfort now. You can place your daughter again into the hands of the Lord, trusting that His purposes are good and that He hears persistent prayer. Others in Scripture prayed for a child for many years, even into old age, and God did not forget their cries. He invites you to keep bringing your heart to Him in honest, simple words, not rote phrases but the true cry of your heart, and to trust Him with the outcome.
I pray for the child, that the Lord would quiet her heart, calm her fears, protect her body and mind, and let her feel His nearness even while she is apart from her mother. I pray for you, that God would sustain you with strength and hope, and help you to continue to train and nurture her in the way of the Lord whenever God gives opportunity, knowing that early planting of truth and love has lasting fruit.
And I pray for the court and for the judge who will hear this matter, that God would grant wisdom and clarity to make a just and discerning decision, one that truly serves the best interest of this child. We ask that what is right and good would prevail, and that if it is according to the Lord's will, you would soon hold your daughter in your arms again.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son through whom alone we have access to You, I lift up this mother and her precious child. Touch the little girl with Your peace and keep her in health. Comfort the mother in her longing. Guide the judge to judge righteously and with understanding. Let Your will be done, and let Your love be evident to this family. Amen.
