Prayer Request from a mother for a child

Brothers and Sistes, we pray with all our hearts for little ###, who is suffering from the painful separation from her mother. Grant her peace and protect her health. Touch the judge's heart during the court hearing on ### so she makes a just decision in the best interest of the child, and the mother can soon hold her in her arms again. Amen.

We join our hearts with you in lifting up this precious little girl and her mother before our Heavenly Father, for we know how deeply He loves children and how close He is to the brokenhearted.

We are moved by the pain of this separation and we bring this child before the Lord asking for His peace and protection over her. We remember that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18 and that Jesus said, Allow the little children to come to me, and don't forbid them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these Matthew 19:14. We also remember that Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward Psalm 127:3. This little one is seen and cherished by God even in this difficult time.

We also lift up her mother who longs to hold her child again, and we ask God to strengthen and comfort her while she waits. We pray that she will feel God's presence and know that she is not alone, for He has said Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We join you in praying for the court hearing and for the judge who will make this decision. We ask the Lord to grant her wisdom, discernment and a heart for justice, that she would truly seek what is best for this child. We trust that The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires Proverbs 21:1, and we pray that He will guide this judge to a just and righteous decision that protects the welfare of this little girl.

Let us pray together. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this little girl to You. Lord, wrap her in Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind, protect her health and let her feel Your love and the love of her mother even while they are apart. Comfort her in her distress and let no harm come to her. Father we also lift up her mother, comfort her aching heart, give her strength, patience and hope as she waits. Sustain her with Your presence and surround her with support. Lord we bring the upcoming court hearing before You, we ask You to touch the heart of the judge, grant her wisdom and impartiality and lead her to decide justly and according to what is truly in the best interest of this child. We pray that if it is Your will and for the good of this child, You would make a way for this mother to soon hold her daughter in her arms again. We trust this family to Your perfect love and justice and ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

We want to gently encourage you that we have access to the Father only through Jesus Christ. Your prayer closed with Amen but did not mention His name, and we want to remind you of the precious truth that Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is only by calling on the name of Jesus that we are saved and that our prayers are heard. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. We continue to stand with you in prayer, trusting that God hears, that He loves this child even more than we do, and that He will work all things together for good for those who love Him Romans 8:28.

We can hear how deep your love for your little girl is, and how hard this separation has felt for both of you. Waiting for a court hearing while your heart longs to hold her again can leave you exhausted and stretched thin, and we want you to know we are carrying this with you before the Lord.

It is understandable to feel helpless when so much rests on one hearing. While you wait, continuing to show steady, loving care in the ways you can, even from a distance, matters. Keeping a simple record of your care and communication, staying closely connected with your legal support, and leaning on one or two trusted people who can walk with you day to day and be present with you on the day of the hearing can help you stay grounded and not carry this alone. Please also care for your own rest and health in this waiting time.

Father, we lift this little girl to You and ask for Your peace to guard her and Your hand to protect her health. We ask for wisdom and clarity for the judge who will hear this case, that she would see clearly what is truly best for this child. And we ask that You would strengthen this mother with Your nearness, comfort her heart, and guide each next step according to Your will. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry has been heard and we join our hearts with yours in prayer before the throne of grace.

There is indeed a separation that is most painful, when those whom God has joined in the tender bond of a mother and her child are torn asunder. We feel with you far more inclined to weep than to speak, for such a sorrow touches the very chamber of the heart. Yet we remember that the careful love of a mother for her little one is no mere rule of man, but an act of God written in the bosom, and He who planted that love beholds both the mother and the child in this hour of grief.

We pray that the Lord will keep the little one under His watchful eye, that He will grant her peace and preserve her health. May the soul of the child be as a weaned child, Psalm 131 verse 2, quieted and content, entirely dependent and resting without anxiety in the care of her heavenly Father even as she longs for her mother's arms. And may He who is slow to anger and perfect in justice grant to you, her mother, that same stillness of soul, to leave what seems good in His sight to His wise and loving hand, trusting that all things work together for good to them that love Him.

We bring the judge before the Lord as well. Human judgment is fallible, but divine justice is unimpeachable and holy. We ask that God, who will not at all acquit the wicked and who delights in mercy, will guide the court to a just and impartial decision, one that truly serves the best and lasting good of the child. May the cloud of justice fall not where it ought not, but may truth and righteousness prevail, for justice when satisfied is the very ground of our hope in Christ, who bore our griefs and carried our sorrows.

Therefore we entreat the Lord to show mercy to you and to your little one, to comfort you with a strong assurance of His divine love, and to do that which is right and good in His sight. We commend you both to Him who hears the cry of the anxious soul and the prayer of the earnest believer, and who has promised that He will be a Father to the fatherless and a defender of those who trust in Him.

May the Lord in His infinite compassion grant peace to the child, strength to the mother, and wisdom to those who must judge, and may His will be done. Amen.
