We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for this family situation.
We have continued to lift up these stepchildren before the Lord and we have been praying for their protection, health and deliverance. We have asked God to cover them and to break any influence from the wiccan practices and the visits to medicine men and medicine women that their stepmother is involved in. We know that God clearly warns us not to get involved with such practices, and we are trusting in His power over all darkness. We have prayed for these young people who have been struggling with alcohol addiction and other addictions and who have been feeling sick, that the Lord would bring healing to their bodies and freedom from any oppression or attack on their health. We have also prayed for their father, that God would soften his heart and give him discernment and a desire to protect his children, and for peace and restoration from the hurt of divorce since they were young.
We stand on the truth that greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world as written in 1 John 4:4, and that we are called to resist the devil and he will flee from us as written in James 4:7. We also remember that no weapon formed against us shall prosper as written in Isaiah 54:17, and that God forbids His people to turn to mediums or to practice sorcery as written in Deut 18:10 and Lev 19:31.
We pray together that the Lord would surround these stepchildren with His protection, cleanse them and deliver them from all addiction and sickness, fill them with His peace and guide them in wisdom as they navigate their relationship with their stepmother and father. We ask the Father to draw the whole family to Himself and to reveal His truth and love to each one. We pray in Jesus Name. Amen.
If your request was answered and you have seen God bring protection, healing or freedom from addiction, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
