We hear your cry for healing and restoration, and we join you in lifting this burden before the throne of grace. The pain and limitation you’re experiencing in your shoulder is not unseen by our Heavenly Father, who cares deeply for every part of you—body, soul, and spirit. We stand with you in faith, believing that the same God who created your body is able to restore it to wholeness.
The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." This promise extends not only to emotional wounds but to physical ones as well. Jesus demonstrated His authority over sickness and pain throughout His ministry, and He has not changed. We also recall James 5:14-15, which instructs, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." We take this command seriously, and we pray with expectation for your complete healing.
Lord, we come before You now, lifting up [this dear one] who is suffering with shoulder pain. You are the Great Physician, the One who knit their body together in their mother’s womb. We ask that You would touch this shoulder, relieve the pain, and restore full movement and strength. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or affliction that may be at work, for Your Word declares in 1 Peter 2:24 that by Jesus’ stripes, we are healed. We stand on this truth and declare healing over their body in the mighty name of Jesus.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment as they seek medical care, trusting that You can work through doctors and treatments to bring about Your will. Guide their steps to the right resources, and give them patience and perseverance as they wait on You. Remind them that even in this trial, You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
Father, we thank You for the power of prayer and for the privilege of coming before You on behalf of Your children. We trust that as we have prayed in faith, You are already at work. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding as they wait for Your healing touch. May they glorify You in their body, whether in sickness or in health, for You alone are worthy of all praise.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
