Praying in Jesus Name.
We come before the Lord with hearts lifted in faith, interceding for the birthday of this individual and the deep desires they have laid before us. First, we must address that the name of Jesus Christ is not invoked in this request, and it is only through His mighty name that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Without Jesus, our prayers are empty, for He is the mediator between God and humanity (1 Timothy 2:5). We urge this person to place their full trust in Christ alone, for apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5).
Now, lifting this request before the throne of grace, we pray for divine and total restoration over this individual’s life. Restoration is a promise of God for those who repent and turn to Him wholeheartedly. *"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten"* (Joel 2:25, WEB), and we claim this promise, asking the Lord to heal every broken area—spiritually, emotionally, physically, and financially. May He renew their strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31) and restore what has been lost or stolen by the enemy.
We also pray for success in their promotional exam, asking the Lord to grant them wisdom, clarity, and recall. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB). May the Holy Spirit guide their mind, helping them to answer every question with confidence and accuracy. We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or distraction, declaring that *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). Let them pass this exam with flying colors, to the glory of God.
Regarding the request for divine citizenship in the UK and Australia, we pray for God’s perfect will to be done. While we understand the desire for stability and opportunity, we must first seek the Kingdom of God above all else (Matthew 6:33). Citizenship in any nation is a blessing, but our ultimate citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20). We ask the Lord to open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) if it aligns with His purpose for this person’s life. May He provide favor with authorities, wisdom in the process, and divine connections that lead to the fulfillment of this request—if it is His will. We also pray that this individual would surrender their plans to God, trusting that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9).
Finally, we exhort this person to examine their heart before the Lord. Are they seeking these things for their own glory, or for the advancement of God’s Kingdom? Let them remember that *"unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it"* (Psalm 127:1, WEB). God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
