We join you in lifting up your son-in-law before the throne of grace and we stand with you in asking for God's uncommon favor and peace over him in this season of job loss.

We know how heavy this kind of disappointment can feel, and we pray that the Lord will guard his heart and mind with a peace that goes beyond understanding. As it is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We ask the Lord to replace any anxiety or discouragement with that perfect peace, reminding him that God is his provider and his future is secure in Christ.

We pray together that God will open doors that no man can shut for him, for Jesus said, Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut. Revelation 3:8 We ask for favor with employers and for divine connections, that the Lord would expedite a new appointment for him, one that is higher and provides more than the previous job, according to God's good will. We pray as Psalm 90:17 says, Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us. Establish the work of our hands for us. Yes, establish the work of our hands. We trust that promotion comes from the Lord, for neither from the east, nor from the west, nor yet from the south, comes exaltation. But God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another. Psalm 75:6-7

We also lift up his wife and their marriage. We thank God for the gift of marriage between a man and a woman and we pray that she will be a strong support to him during this time, upholding him in prayer, speaking words of encouragement and cheering him on in love. We pray that their marriage will be strengthened through this trial and that they will grow closer to each other and to the Lord, bearing with one another in love and unity. We pray that God will bless and prosper their marriage beyond their expectations as they walk together in faithfulness.

Above all we join you in praying that they will seek God first together. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33 And we claim the promise that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 We encourage them to continue to trust in Yahweh with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding, to acknowledge Him in all their ways, and He will direct their paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

Let us pray. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne. We lift up this beloved son-in-law to You. Lord, pour out Your uncommon favor upon him. Comfort him, give him Your peace, and guard his heart from fear and doubt. Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, and lead him to the right job that You have prepared for him, a higher appointment with greater provision that will glorify You. Give him favor in the eyes of those who will interview and hire him. We pray for his wife, that You would give her wisdom, grace and strength to be his greatest support, to uphold him in prayer and to encourage him daily. Bless their marriage, Lord, make it strong, joyful and a testimony of Your goodness. Help them both to seek You first and to trust You with their future, knowing that You have plans for peace and not for evil, to give them hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 We thank You that You are working all things together for good for those who love You. In Jesus' mighty name we pray, Amen.

We are grateful you brought your son and his wife before the Lord with such love. Losing a job can shake more than finances, it can shake peace and sense of identity, and it often brings fears about what might happen next with home and future.

We are praying with you for his peace, for favor as he seeks work, and for his wife to be a steady encouragement to him. We also join you in asking God to strengthen their marriage in this pressure, that they would seek Him first together.

One thing that often helps in this kind of loss is to gently separate what has actually been lost from what is feared. It can help your son and his wife to name together what is real today and what is worry about tomorrow, and to bring both to God honestly. It also helps to remember his worth is not measured only by a job title or paycheck. If they can, sitting down to look at the most immediate pressure point and making a simple plan together, even reaching out to one trusted contact or former colleague, can bring some steadiness while they trust God for the next door.

Father, we lift this son to You, grant him Your peace and clear direction, provide for him and his wife, and draw them closer to You and to each other as they wait on You. Lead him to the work You have for him in Your timing. In Jesus' name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in bringing your son and his household before the throne of grace, and we speak on God's behalf as we plead for His mercy and favour to rest upon them.

We have heard your burden for your son in his loss of employment, and we remember Job who in all his affliction sinned not nor charged God foolishly. The Lord who tried Job is the same who purposes all things according to His infallible counsel, and not one of His purposes can be restrained. We pray that in this season of waiting your son may know the peace of God which passes understanding, that he may abhor all murmuring and rest by faith upon the Redeemer, seeing the Lord's hand even in this trial and learning to be less dependent upon an arm of flesh and more upon the everlasting arms underneath him.

We ask the Lord to open doors that no man can shut, and to grant him uncommon favour with those who have the power to appoint. May the God who teaches His people and leads them in the way they should go, guide your son to work that is honest and honourable, and if it be His gracious will, to a higher appointment with provision more abundant than before, that he may do good unto all men for God's glory and for Christ's sake. We pray that he will seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, trusting that all needful things shall be added, and that whether in resting or in labour he may bear fruit unto God.

We lift up his wife before the Lord, that she may be indeed a help and comfort to him in this hour. We pray that the Lord will give her a new heart of tenderness and a right spirit within, that she may uphold him in constant prayer, cheer him with gracious words, and walk beside him in steadfast love. We ask God to bless and prosper their marriage as He alone ordained it, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, kept in holiness and honour. May He knit their hearts together, make their union fruitful in love and good works, and cause them to declare His wondrous works together beyond all they have asked or expected.

May the blood of Jesus Christ, God's dear Son, be their confidence, for salvation is through Him alone, and may they know themselves to be His people, forgiven, justified, and kept by His mercy which endures forever. We commit them to Him who is our unfailing refuge, believing that He hears the cry of His elect who call upon Him. In Jesus mighty Name we pray, Amen and Amen.

We join you in lifting up your son in law before the Lord in this difficult season after the loss of his job, and we thank you for bringing his marriage before God in prayer.

We pray that the peace of God which passes all understanding will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, that he will not be overcome with anxiety but will cast his cares upon the Lord who cares for him. As Job said, the Lord gave and the Lord has taken away, blessed be the name of the Lord, and we pray that even this loss may become gain for him as he gives thanks and trusts the Father's providence.

We ask that God in His wisdom and goodness would open doors that no man can shut, and grant him favor with employers. We pray that the Lord who knows our needs would provide for him and his household, and if it be according to His will, would lead him to a better appointment with greater provision than before, so that he may provide well and use what is given with wisdom and generosity. We pray not only for earthly provision but that he would seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, trusting that all needful things will be added by the Father.

We also pray for his wife, that God would strengthen her to be a faithful support and helper to her husband in this time, upholding him in prayer, speaking words of encouragement and hope, and walking with him in unity. We pray that God would bless and prosper their marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman as He designed it, that He who honored marriage by His presence would make their union stronger through this trial, rooted in love, patience and mutual service.

May the Lord draw them both closer to Himself, that together they would seek Him first, grow in faith, and know His abundant grace in Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
