We hear the heaviness in your request and we stand with you and your family before the Lord, seeking His protection and deliverance together in Jesus name.
We understand you feel under spiritual attack and that the enemy is using other people to try to tear your family apart, including those from the places you mentioned and from a former occult church and school system. We want to gently bring some biblical truth to help guide your prayers. Scripture tells us our struggle is real and spiritual, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8. Yet God calls us not to pray out of hatred or a desire for vengeance, but to trust Him as our refuge and defender. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2.
We must lovingly rebuke and correct the desire to pray that people would be forever removed out of bitterness or hatred. God says Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. And Jesus commands us But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. This does not mean we cannot ask God for healthy boundaries, for protection, and for deliverance from harmful influences. We can and should pray for God to set a hedge around your family, to close doors that should be closed, and to remove ungodly influence according to His will, while also releasing forgiveness and leaving judgment to Him. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good Romans 12:21.
We also want to address your mention of a former occult church. Any involvement with the occult must be fully renounced and repented of, for it opens doors to the enemy. Scripture calls us to Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. We encourage you to turn completely from that former system, to confess it before the Lord, to remove any objects or practices connected to it, and to walk fully in the light of Christ, putting on the whole armor of God daily through prayer, the Word, and fellowship with a Bible believing church.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and find true refuge and salvation. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we urge you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name for salvation, deliverance, and protection.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up this dear one and their family to You. Lord, You are their refuge and fortress, and we ask You to cover them under Your wings and keep them safe from the schemes of the enemy. We ask You to break every chain and influence from the former occult church and any ungodly ties from the school system and from those individuals who have meant harm. We pray that You would close every door that should be closed and establish godly boundaries around this family according to Your perfect will. We resist the devil in Jesus name and ask that he would flee from them as they submit themselves to You. Fill their home with Your peace, unity, and love, and heal any division the enemy has tried to cause. Help them to forgive as You have forgiven us, to release bitterness, and to bless those who have persecuted them while trusting You for justice and protection. Draw each family member closer to Jesus, and let Your will be done in their lives. We ask that they would dwell in Your secret place and rest in Your shadow. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord daily, to pray in Jesus name, to read Scripture aloud over your home, and to seek counsel from a trusted pastor who can walk with you in person. God is faithful to be your refuge, and as you submit to Him and resist the enemy, He will guard you and your family.
