We have been lifting up your burden before the Lord, that He would reveal Himself and masquerade as human flesh is understood through Christ to those who lack belief, that eyes would be opened and hearts would turn to Him. We have also been praying regarding the heavy burden you carry for locals who are struggling with underemployment and discrimination, and for the policies of government that you feel favor foreigners over locals. We have asked God to give wisdom and justice to those in authority, for He moves the heart of the king as it pleases Him according to Proverbs 21:1, and to bring fairness and provision where there is hurt and frustration.
We have also prayed for the church, that we would not be deluded but would have true discernment and understanding, and that we would encourage one another to be faithful stewards of the talents God has given, as taught in Matthew 25:21, and not be discouraged by hardship. We ask the Lord to provide meaningful work where each person can use their gifts for His glory and to help employers to act with integrity and fairness.
