We hear the burden in your heart about work, provision, the stewardship of talents, and the pain you feel when you see your community struggling for employment while policies seem to favor others. We join you in bringing this before the Lord, and we want to seek His will together with you in Jesus' name.
We must gently and lovingly address some of what you have shared so that our prayers and thinking align with Scripture. You speak of God masquerading as human lack of belief. God does not masquerade or deceive. God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should repent Numbers 23:19, and it is impossible for God to lie Titus 1:2. Lack of belief comes from the human heart, not from God pretending to be something He is not. The Scriptures show that people are without excuse because what is known of God is revealed in creation Romans 1:20, yet many hold unbelief in their hearts Hebrews 3:12. God desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:4 and He is patient, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9. When we see unbelief around us, we are called to pray that the Lord would open eyes and soften hearts, not to think that God Himself is disguised as unbelief.
We also hear your deep frustration with government, companies, and those who have come from other nations to work. We understand the pain of underemployment and of feeling that your gifts and talents are not being used as God intended. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23, and the parable of the talents reminds us that the Lord entrusts each of us according to our ability and calls us to be faithful with what we have been given Matthew 25:15. Even in a difficult job market, He sees your faithfulness and calls you to steward what you have for His glory. At the same time we must guard our hearts against bitterness and contempt toward others. You used language that describes fellow human beings as dirt cheap as trash. Every person, whether local or foreigner, is made in the image of God Genesis 1:27 and God shows no partiality Acts 10:34, Romans 2:11. The Lord commands, The stranger who lives as a foreigner with you shall be to you as the native-born among you, and you shall love him as yourself Leviticus 19:34, and You shall love your neighbor as yourself Matthew 22:39. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice Ephesians 4:31, and see to it that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble Hebrews 12:15. It is right to desire just and wise governance and fair treatment for workers, for masters are told to give to servants that which is just and equal Colossians 4:1 and to not oppress a hired servant Leviticus 19:13, but we are not to hate or dehumanize those who are also seeking to provide for their families, nor to covet what belongs to another Exodus 20:17. Our struggle is not ultimately against flesh and blood, and we are called to pray rather than to harbor resentment.
The church indeed needs wisdom and discernment in how it counsels people about work. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We should pray that pastors and believers are not conformed to this world, but transformed by the renewing of the mind, so that we may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God Romans 12:2. Government also needs our prayers. Let every person be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God Romans 13:1, and we are exhorted that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence 1 Timothy 2:1-2. Even when we disagree with policies, we are to pray for those in authority that God would grant them justice, competence, and a heart to care for all people, and we put our ultimate trust not in princes Psalm 146:3 but in the Lord who promises to supply every need according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19.
We notice your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved Romans 10:9. It is by His name we pray and find mercy.
So we pray together with you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, asking for Your will to be done. Lord, we ask You to reveal Yourself to those who do not yet believe, to remove the veil of unbelief and draw many to saving faith in Jesus. Give us compassion for the lost and courage to speak the truth in love. Father, we lift up our governing authorities and employers to You. Grant them wisdom, integrity, and justice, that they may govern and hire fairly, caring for the good of all people and not showing unjust partiality. We pray for those who are underemployed and discouraged, that You would open doors for meaningful work where they can faithfully steward the talents You have given them, and that You would provide for their needs and guard them from discouragement and envy. Heal any bitterness in our hearts, teach us to love both neighbor and stranger as ourselves, and to speak of others with dignity as those made in Your image. Give Your church discernment to counsel with truth and grace, to not misjudge people's struggles, but to point them to faithful stewardship and trust in You. We ask that You would help us to work heartily as unto You, to trust You more than policies or economies, and to rest in Your sovereign goodness. We ask all this in the precious and only name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our salvation. Amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
