We have heard your cry and we join with you in bringing it before the throne of grace, asking God to remember His promises and to act on your behalf.
We are reminded that God is faithful to His Word and He does not forget what He has spoken concerning you. As it is written, God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should repent. Has he said, and will he not do it? Has he spoken, and will he not make it good? Numbers 23:19 and so shall my word be that goes out of my mouth. It shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing I sent it to do. Isaiah 55:11. We take comfort that the Lord watches over His Word to fulfill it, and we ask Him to manifest His promises in your life according to His perfect will and timing.
We also hear your deep need for deliverance from those who hate you and have come against you, who have wronged you, robbed you, lied against you and injured you unjustly. The Lord sees every injustice and He hears the cry of the afflicted. The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:17-18 and Yahweh executes righteous acts and justice for all who are oppressed. Psalm 103:6. We stand with you asking for His protection, for He has promised that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail. Isaiah 54:17 and Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still. Exodus 14:14.
Concerning your desire for God to avenge you, we must gently share what Scripture teaches so that your heart may remain aligned with His will. God indeed loves justice and He has said, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. Romans 12:19 and again Vengeance is mine, and recompense. Deuteronomy 32:35. It is right to ask God to bring justice and to right every wrong, for He is the righteous Judge, but we are called not to seek personal revenge or to harbor hatred, but to entrust judgment to Him and to forgive as we have been forgiven. For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6:14-15 and Be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:32. We encourage you to release the burden of vengeance into His hands, trusting that He will deal justly with those who have harmed you, while you walk in freedom and peace.
We also notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9. It is through His shed blood that we can boldly bring our petitions and vows before God and know that He hears us.
Concerning your vow and your petitions, we pray that God who hears according to His will would grant what is for your good and His glory. This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. 1 John 5:14 and we remember, When you vow a vow to God, do not defer to pay it; for he has no pleasure in fools. Pay that which you vow. Ecclesiastes 5:4. We ask God to help you fulfill what you have promised to Him with a sincere heart, and to grant your petitions as you delight yourself in Him.
We now pray together for you.
Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You know the affliction, the lies, the robbery and the malicious injury that has been suffered unjustly. We ask that You remember Your Word concerning this life and do as You have promised. Fight for Your child, deliver from the hand of those who hate and from the power of those who rise up against Your child. We ask that You cover with Your wings, for He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1. Let Your justice be revealed, and let every wrong be made right in Your perfect time. Grant the petitions that align with Your will, remember the vow that has been made and give grace to walk faithfully before You. Heal the wounds of the heart, remove bitterness, and fill this life with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We entrust all vengeance to You, Lord, and ask for a heart that forgives and trusts in Your righteous judgment. We ask all this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Advocate, amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer, to stay in the Word daily, and to trust that God is your deliverer and your justice. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6. Wait on the Lord, continue to seek Him, and know that He is working even when you cannot yet see it.
