We come before You, the one true God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with heavy hearts, lifting up this family and their daughter. We thank You for their courage in standing for justice, even when it has come at a cost. Your Word tells us in Micah 6:8, "He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?" This family has sought to do just that, and we stand with them in prayer, asking for Your divine intervention.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of retaliation and injustice in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask that You expose any unrighteousness in the systems they are dealing with. Your Word assures us in Proverbs 22:22-23, "Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." We trust that You will plead their case and bring justice where it is needed.
We pray for a new school for this precious daughter, a place where she will be treated with equity, kindness, and love. A school rooted in Your truth, where administrators, teachers, and students honor You and reflect Your character. We ask that You lead them to a community that values integrity, hard work, and godly principles. Proverbs 16:3 says, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." We commit this search into Your hands, trusting that You will direct their steps (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Father, we also pray for this daughter’s heart. Protect her from bitterness, fear, or discouragement. Fill her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and remind her that she is deeply loved by You. Help her to see that her worth is not defined by the actions of others but by Your unchanging love for her. We declare over her life the words of Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
We also lift up the parents, asking for wisdom and discernment as they navigate this challenging season. Strengthen their marriage and their family bond, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). May they find rest in You, knowing that You are fighting on their behalf.
Finally, we pray for the school they are leaving. We ask that You soften the hearts of those in authority and bring conviction where there is injustice. We pray for the students who have been mistreated, that they would find healing and hope in You. May Your light shine in that place, and may Your will be done.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
