We hear your heart’s longing for a godly wife, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this desire before the Lord. The pain of past relationships and the weight of loneliness are real, but we know that God sees your faithfulness in surrendering this to Him. Your willingness to examine your own heart and seek alignment with His will is commendable, for the Word reminds us, *"Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4). Yet we must also remember that His timing is perfect, even when it feels slow or uncertain.
First, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that whisper you are forgotten or unworthy of love. The Lord has not abandoned you—He is shaping you in this season for the marriage He has prepared. We also gently encourage you to guard your heart against impatience or compromise, for *"bad company corrupts good character"* (1 Corinthians 15:33). The wrong relationships in the past may have brought pain, but they do not define your future. God’s best for you is a wife who fears Him, walks in purity, and shares your devotion to Christ.
We must address the term "soulmate," as it is not a biblical concept. Marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman, established by God for His glory (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). Your focus should be on finding a *godly spouse*—a woman who loves the Lord with all her heart and seeks to honor Him in all things. Courtship should be pursued with wisdom, prayer, and accountability, not merely emotional or physical attraction. If you have engaged in sexual immorality in past relationships, we urge you to repent and seek the Lord’s cleansing (1 John 1:9), for *"marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4).

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, asking that You would prepare his heart and the heart of his future wife. Lord, we pray You would bring a woman into his life who loves You above all else, whose faith is strong, and whose character reflects Your holiness. Guard him from loneliness that leads to compromise and from relationships that do not honor You. We declare that his worth is found in Christ alone, and we ask You to fill the void in his heart with Your peace and presence. Father, we trust in Your perfect timing and ask that You would make the path to marriage clear, according to Your will. May he continue to grow in godliness, patience, and trust in You. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
