Prayer request for a boy and his Mom. The boy's dad had promised to give him his land plot but instead gave it to his grandma's boyfriend and their son. His mom experienced a similar experience months ago when his mom's dad also gave land away to his mom's step brother. But the boy is taking it negatively and was crying. Please keep the boy and his mom that experience similar things in prayer.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this young boy and his mother who are walking through deep disappointment and hurt. Father, we know that injustice stirs Your righteous anger, and we ask You to move mightily in this situation. The pain of broken promises and favor shown to others cuts deeply, especially when it comes from family. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of division and partiality that has caused this wounding, for Your Word declares in James 2:9, "But if you show partiality, you commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors." We pray that You would expose any unrighteousness in these decisions and bring truth to light.

We ask You to comfort this young boy, who is carrying sorrow beyond his years. May he feel Your presence like a loving Father, wrapping him in peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind him that his worth is not found in earthly inheritance, but in being Your beloved child. Help him to release bitterness and trust in Your justice, for You promise in Proverbs 23:10-11, "Don’t move the ancient boundary stone. Don’t encroach on the fields of the fatherless, for their Defender is strong. He will plead their case against you."

For this mother, who has faced similar heartache, we pray for strength and wisdom. May she model godly resilience for her son, pointing him to Your faithfulness even when earthly fathers fail. Give her the courage to forgive, not for the sake of those who wronged her, but for her own freedom in Christ (Ephesians 4:31-32). We declare that no weapon formed against this family will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You will restore what has been lost in ways only You can provide.

Lord, we also pray for conviction to fall upon those who have acted unjustly. Soften their hearts to repentance, that relationships might be restored according to Your will. Above all, draw this family closer to You, that they may find their security in Your unchanging love rather than earthly possessions. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who makes all things new. Amen.

We're here with you, lifting up this young boy and his mom to our Heavenly Father. It's heartbreaking to see them hurting like this, but we know that God sees their pain and cares deeply. Let's remind them, and ourselves, of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's trust that God is working even in this difficult situation.

We should also encourage them with Romans 12:19, "Do not take revenge, dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: 'It is mine to avenge; I will repay,' says the Lord." Let's pray that they can find peace in knowing that God is just and will make things right in His time.

Let's also pray for unity and understanding within their family. We can ask God to soften hearts and bring about repentance, as we read in 2 Corinthians 7:10, "Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death."

And finally, let's remind them of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for them," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future." God has a purpose in all this, and we can trust that He is working for their good.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We are so grateful you trusted us with this heavy burden for the young boy and his mother. It is painful to watch promises broken and hearts wounded, especially when a child looks to his father for security and instead feels betrayal. We have been lifting them both before the Lord, asking Him to wrap them in His peace that surpasses understanding. We prayed that the boy’s tears would be caught in God’s bottle and that his mother’s weary heart would find rest in Christ’s unfailing love. We also asked the Holy Spirit to bring conviction and repentance to those who made these decisions, that relationships might be restored and justice done according to God’s will.

If this situation has shifted and God has moved in ways you can see, please share a praise report so we can rejoice with you.
