Prayer: Pursuing Date Night

Dear Lord,

Thank You for our marriage. Thank You for our love. Thank You for our friendship. We pray we would be able to pursue a regular date night. We pray we would have time to cultivate our marriage relationship and strengthen our bond of intimacy. We pray for time together. We pray for creative ways to spend that time together. Please help us to maintain our marriage and may You be glorified as we pursue loving one another in Jesus’ name AMEN!

Thank You, Lord, that you have planned our marriage. Unexpected. But Lord, You are full of surprises. What a gift. Yes, Lord, you will always give us creative times to spend time together and build a deep bond between us. Lord, we pray that our love will always flow from You to us and to others. So that many will see, what true love is. You have written the greatest love story in giving us, Jesus. This marriage shall be the greatest love story ever written. For me it is! In Jesus Name I pray to protect this marriage as You will hold us together like a cord. Amen!

Yes, this is my prayer too. God will give us many spiritual children. This reminds me of the ones who are "barren". But yes, I desire so much that also the children of others get taught God's ways. Children are the future and they need to know God's ways and they need to see it being lived in their families. Yes, help Father to be holy and pure. You so much pray as if they were my own words.

I know, that our marriage has been planned before. Now I understand. God does put us to the test when He chooses and plans to bring husband and wife together. And who could be the best match-maker, but God Himself. And I think, so shall we. For sure, we shall be faithful to one another. Besides Jesus in whom I trust now, I know, that you, my future husband, are the first one I will trust. God still has to prepare me, but I know as I have never felt before as I do now. And Lord, this is my prayer that both of us know that one day we have to stand before you. I pray that you cover this bond of love with the precious Blood of Jesus.
