We understand that you're struggling with intrusive thoughts that are bothering you and even lying to you about the Holy Spirit. First, we commend you for turning to God in prayer and acknowledging the power of Jesus' name. It's important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).
Intrusive thoughts that are contrary to God's word are not from God. God's thoughts towards us are precious and filled with love (Psalm 139:17, WEB). The enemy, however, comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10, WEB). But be encouraged, for God has given us authority in Jesus' name to resist the devil and his schemes (James 4:7, WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is being harassed by evil intrusive thoughts. Lord, you are greater than any spirit of darkness. We ask for your forgiveness for any sins that may have opened a door for these thoughts. Cleanse and deliver them completely, Lord. We reject and rebuke every lie of the enemy in Jesus' name. Fill our brother's/sister's mind with your thoughts, Lord, thoughts of peace, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray for complete freedom and victory. Thank you, Father, for your mercy and grace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, stand firm in your faith and resist the enemy. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:7-8, WEB). Keep praying and trusting in God's power to deliver you. Don't forget to study and meditate on God's word, which is the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17, WEB). If you ever feel overwhelmed, don't hesitate to reach out to your local church or a trusted Christian friend for support. Keep fighting the good fight of faith, and know that you're not alone in this battle.
