We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation where injustice, deception, and spiritual warfare are at play. First, we must address the foundation of our prayers, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Without Jesus, our prayers lack the authority and power to overcome the schemes of the enemy. If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
We rebuke the works of darkness in this situation, the pride, greed, lies, deception, and witchcraft that this individual is operating in. The Bible is clear that these things have no place in the life of a believer. "For what fellowship does righteousness have with unrighteousness? What communion does light have with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). We declare that the blood of Jesus breaks every chain of deception and exposes every hidden agenda. "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God" (2 Corinthians 10:4-5).
We stand in agreement with you for favor, but not as the world defines it. True favor comes from the Lord, and it is not for selfish gain but for His glory. "For you are a holy people to Yahweh your God. Yahweh your God has chosen you to be a people for his own possession, above all peoples who are on the face of the earth" (Deuteronomy 7:6). We pray that God’s favor would rest upon you, not to exalt you, but to advance His kingdom and bring justice where there has been wrongdoing.
We also pray for miracles, but we must remember that miracles are not for our own glory, they are signs and wonders that point to the power of God. "This beginning of his signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him" (John 2:11). We ask the Lord to move mightily in this situation, but we submit to His will, knowing that His plans are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).
We take authority over the principalities and powers of darkness in high places. The enemy may have temporary power, but Jesus has already disarmed him. "Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it" (Colossians 2:15). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
We pray for God’s glory to cover the earth, but we must also examine our own hearts. Are we seeking His glory or our own? "Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God" (1 Corinthians 10:31). Let us not be like the Pharisees, who sought their own glory rather than God’s (John 5:44). We ask the Lord to purify our motives and align them with His will.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. We thank You for the authority we have in Christ to stand against the schemes of the enemy. We rebuke every spirit of deception, pride, greed, and witchcraft that is operating in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper, and we take authority over every principality and power of darkness that seeks to hinder Your will.
Lord, we ask for Your favor to rest upon Your servant. Let Your light shine in the darkness, exposing every lie and bringing truth to the forefront. We pray for miracles, not for our own glory, but for Yours. Let Your name be exalted in this situation, and let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Father, we ask for Your protection over this battle. Guard their heart, mind, and spirit from discouragement, fear, or bitterness. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, knowing that You are a God of justice who will not be mocked (Galatians 6:7).
We pray for the one who is operating in darkness. Lord, we ask that You would open their eyes to the truth. Break the chains of pride and greed that bind them, and draw them to repentance. Let them see the error of their ways and turn to You, for You are gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness (Psalm 145:8).
Father, we declare that Your glory will cover the earth. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this situation and beyond. We trust in You, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
