Prayer over my husband's employment

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please can I ask the Kingdom family to pray for my husband. He is currently under attack, and it always seems to be the same thing, where other people don't do their job properly, and don't take accountability and try and blame him. He has evidence to prove he has done everything right on his end. Please pray that these people that lie to try and save themselves and seemingly have no conscience about making someone else take the blame, are exposed and my husband is exonerated. His past dealings with lying people at work hurts him a lot. This is the age we are living in. But God, we are Trusting in you and the precious blood of Jesus Christ to cover him. My daughter came through after praying for her Dad with Psalm 12. It was perfectly timed. Father please let him feel your presence, your peace which surpasses all understanding, and may God give him a calm peace and clarity of mind as he goes into this meeting in 20 minutes. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Our Saviour. Amen.

We stand with you in this time of trial, lifting your husband before the throne of grace. The workplace can indeed become a battleground when dishonesty and blame-shifting prevail, but we know that the Lord sees all and will not let the righteous be shaken forever. Your husband’s integrity is a testimony to his character, and we declare that his faithfulness will not go unnoticed by God.

The scriptures assure us, "The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you" (Psalm 9:9-10 WEB). We rebuke every spirit of deception and false accusation in Jesus’ name. Let every lie be exposed, and let truth prevail. "For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open" (Luke 8:17 WEB).

We also pray for those who are acting in dishonesty. May the Lord soften their hearts and convict them of their wrongdoing. "The Lord’s hand is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear" (Isaiah 59:1-2 WEB). May they turn from their ways and seek repentance.

For your husband, we pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). May he walk into that meeting with confidence, knowing that the Lord goes before him. We declare clarity of mind, wisdom in his responses, and favor in the eyes of those who matter.

Father, we thank You for the precious blood of Jesus that covers him. We stand on the promise that "no weapon forged against him will prevail, and every tongue that accuses him in judgment You will condemn" (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). Strengthen him, Lord, and let him feel Your presence in a tangible way. May this trial refine him and draw him closer to You.

We also praise You for the answered prayer you’ve already given through your daughter’s intercession with Psalm 12. What a beautiful reminder that You hear the cries of Your children! We continue to trust in Your perfect timing and justice.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We are so grateful you let us carry this with you. To watch your husband do his work faithfully and then be blamed when others don't take responsibility is deeply painful, and we understand why those old hurts are rising again with this meeting so close.

We love that your daughter prayed Psalm 12 over her dad in this moment. That timely covering matters, and we are joining her now asking God to steady him.

For these next minutes it may help him to have his evidence and two or three clear, factual points written down so he can stay calm and focused even if others deflect. And for you, staying in prayer right where you are while he is in that room is a real and powerful support.

We are praying for truth to be seen clearly, for integrity to stand, and most of all for your husband to sense God near him with calm and clarity of mind.

Father, we lift this husband to You as he steps into this meeting. Cover him with Your presence, quiet his heart, give him steady, clear words, and let what is true be seen. Hold this whole family in Your peace today. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your cry has come before the church and we have carried it together to the throne of grace on behalf of your husband, yourself and your daughter.

We join you in thanking God that He has already given a word in season through Psalm 12. That Psalm speaks so directly to this trial, where men speak vanity every one with his neighbour, with flattering lips and with a double heart. The Lord who hears the lies of ungodly lips is the same Lord who keeps His own and will not suffer the truth to be forever hidden. He sees the evidence, He knows the whole matter, and though false tongues may for a season prevail, the Lord will in His time make the truth to shine forth.

We have prayed that in this meeting and in all that follows, the Lord will give your husband that peace which is not the false peace of this world, but the perfect peace promised to him whose mind is stayed upon God because he trusts in Him. That peace is not drawn from circumstances, nor from the favour of men, but from the precious blood of Jesus Christ which whispers peace within. It is the peace which Christ Himself has made by His blood, the peace He has left to His people, and the peace which the Holy Spirit works in the soul. May your husband know it now, a calm and clarity of mind, a quiet heart in the midst of thronging duties and surging sorrows, to do the will of Jesus and there to find rest.

We have asked the Lord to cover him under that blood, to keep his conscience quiet before God, to guard his lips and his spirit from anxiety which unfits a man to meet his difficulty, and to grant him wisdom to speak the truth with meekness and to leave his vindication in the hands of Him who judges righteously. We have prayed that if it be His will, every lying word spoken against him would be exposed and that his integrity would be made manifest, and that whether the exoneration be immediate or delayed, he may be upheld by the knowledge that his witness is in heaven and his record is on high.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, Thou God of truth without iniquity, just and right art Thou. Thou hatest lying lips and Thou knowest the burden of Thy servant who is called to answer for faults not his own. Cover him, we beseech Thee, with the precious blood of Christ, and keep him in perfect peace as his mind is stayed upon Thee. Grant him calmness, clearness of thought, and words seasoned with truth and grace as he stands before those who accuse him. Bring hidden things to light, restrain the tongue that would do mischief, and let integrity be his shield. Comfort his wife and his child who watch and pray, and let this household feel Thy presence very near, Thy peace which passeth all understanding guarding their hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, who is our peace. Amen.

Cast your care anew upon Him, for He careth for you. Continue to look to Christ first, and peace will follow. We remain with you in prayer.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in prayer for your husband and thank you for bringing this burden to the family of faith. It is deeply painful when others do not do their work with integrity and then shift blame to protect themselves, especially when this has happened before and left wounds. God sees what is done in secret and He loves what is true, honorable and pure.

We pray that the Lord who is the God of truth will let truth come to light. Scripture teaches that every matter is established by the testimony of witnesses, and we ask that the evidence your husband has will speak clearly, that false accusations will not stand, and that those who have spoken falsely to save themselves will be exposed and brought to account. We do not ask this for revenge but for justice, for his exoneration, and so that he may be freed from this unjust burden.

We thank God for your daughter praying Psalm 12 over her father, for that psalm reminds us that the Lord keeps His pure words and arises to protect the needy when the faithful are oppressed. We ask that your husband would be covered by the precious blood of Jesus Christ and would feel the nearness of the Lord in a powerful way.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, we lift this husband to You. Grant him Your peace which surpasses all understanding, calm his heart, give him clarity of mind and steadiness as he enters this meeting and in all that follows. Give wisdom to those who hear his case, let what is right be recognized, and deliver him from anxiety and plotting. Strengthen his wife and daughter as they trust in You, and let this family know that You are with them and that to walk in integrity before You brings a clear conscience and Your presence even in trial. We trust You to act for his good and for Your glory. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart so openly and for inviting prayer for your husband and your family. I have prayed for him, for you, and for your daughter, and I continue to hold you before the Lord.

What you describe is painful and familiar in a fallen world. Scripture often warns about false testimony and lying lips, and it shows that those who speak falsely often sound convincing because much of what they say may appear true. God is not deceived. He sees the heart, He hears every word, and He knows the evidence even when others ignore it or shift blame. The law taught that if someone bears false witness against a neighbor, that sin is serious before God and will be judged, and the prophets often confronted those who spoke empty promises of peace while covering wrongdoing. The Lord who sees in secret will in His perfect way and timing bring truth to light.

Your daughter's turning to Psalm 12 is a beautiful provision. That psalm describes a time when faithful people seem few and many speak with flattering lips and a double heart, but it also declares that the words of the Lord are pure and that He will keep and guard His own. It is a reminder that while people may lie to save themselves, God does not forget His children. His Word remains true, and He watches over those who trust Him.

You also asked for the peace that surpasses all understanding to guard him as he goes into this meeting, and that is exactly what Scripture invites us to seek. Grace and peace are multiplied as we grow in knowing God and Jesus our Lord. When we have peace with God through the forgiveness of our sins by the blood of Jesus Christ, He can then give peace within our own hearts even while turmoil is around us. That peace is not the false comfort that denies reality, but the steady calm that comes from wisdom from above, which is peaceable and allows us to act with clarity and gentleness. Those who sow peace reap a harvest of righteousness.

So I prayed that the Lord would cover your husband with the blood of Jesus, surround him with His presence, and guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. I asked for calm clarity for him to speak truthfully and steadily, for his evidence to be seen clearly, and for any false accusation to be exposed according to God's justice and mercy. I prayed that the Lord would heal the deeper wound left by past experiences of being blamed, and that He would replace anxiety with confidence that God is his defender and will not abandon him. I also prayed for you and your daughter, that you would know God's comfort as you wait and trust.

May the Lord give your husband clear words and a quiet heart, may He uphold what is true, and may you all rest in knowing that God is thinking thoughts of peace toward His people and will keep those who trust in Him.
