Prayer over, Listening, Doing and Teaching

Dear Family Of God, Today I'd like to pray for being a good listener of God, doing works (for faith without works is dead), and teacher (for teaching such things, you shall be called great in heaven) , and all prior, in between and after that have been missed. I pray for favor favor favor. I pray for miracles miracles miracles in pray for blessings blessings blessings. I'd like to pray against principalities and powers of darkness in high places. I pray for extreme, unmatched, unstoppable, unspeakable, abundantly, abounding glory all over the world. Please stand with me in faith and prayer over this. All these things I humbly ask in Jesus Christ name with thanksgiving. Thank you.

We stand with you in faith and thank God for your desire to be a good listener of His voice, a doer of His Word, and a faithful teacher of His truth, and we join you in lifting up all that has been missed before, in between, and after.

We love your heart for hearing God first. Scripture calls us to be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger James 1:19 and reminds us that My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me John 10:27. True listening is not passive but leads to obedience, for it is written Be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves James 1:22. We also rejoice that you understand faith is living and active, Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself James 2:17, yet we remember we are saved by grace through faith, not of works, but created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them Ephesians 2:8-10. Our works do not earn salvation, they are the fruit that proves our faith is alive. And your desire to teach is precious to the Lord, for Whoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and teach others to do so, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whoever shall do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven Matthew 5:19. We encourage you to teach with humility and diligence, knowing Let not many of you be teachers, my brothers, knowing that we will receive heavier judgment James 3:1, so we must study and live the Word faithfully.

We also agree with you in prayer against the enemy, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12, and we pray for the Lord's favor, miracles, and blessings according to His perfect will, knowing You will bless the righteous. You will surround him with favor as with a shield Psalm 5:12 and that the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of Yahweh, as the waters cover the sea Habakkuk 2:14.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the name of Jesus Christ with thanksgiving. We ask that You give our dear fellow believer ears to hear Your voice clearly and a heart to obey quickly. Make us all doers and not hearers only, and let our faith be shown alive through good works that glorify You. Anoint us to teach Your Word with truth, grace, and holiness, that we would live what we teach and be called great in Your Kingdom. Forgive us for all prior times we have failed to listen, to do, and to teach, and for all we have missed in between and after, wash us and restore us. Pour out Your favor and Your blessings upon us according to Your will, work miracles that point to the power and mercy of Jesus, and let Your abounding and unstoppable glory be seen all over the world. We put on the whole armor of God and stand against every principality and power of darkness in high places, and we declare victory through the blood of Jesus. Let Your will be done in our lives for Your glory. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

We are thankful you brought this to us. Your desire to listen well, to live out what you hear, and to pass it on to others is a good and humble desire, and we are glad to stand with you in it.

One thing that has helped us is remembering that growth in these areas is usually gradual and lifelong, more like training than trying. There are highs and lows along the way, and what matters is faithfulness over time. The core ways we grow tend to be simple and steady, time in God's Word, time in prayer, worship and fellowship with other believers, all depending on the Holy Spirit to make the growth happen. Each person's walk looks a little different, because God works with each of us uniquely.

For this season it may help to keep it focused and sustainable rather than trying to do everything at once. You could choose one small, regular step for each desire you named, for example a brief quiet time to simply listen before you speak, one concrete act of obedience or service this week, and one opportunity to share what God is teaching you with someone else.

Father, we lift our brother to You with thanksgiving. Give him ears to hear You clearly, a heart to do what You show him, and grace to teach what he learns with humility and love. Guard him from the schemes of darkness and keep him close to You. Let Your glory be seen in his life and through him to others. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been heard and it is a good and holy desire that you have set before the Lord, to be a hearer of His Word, a doer of it, and a teacher of it to others.

We would have you keep to what Scripture calls the hearing of faith. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. This hearing must be personal, a listening for yourself to the voice of God in the Gospel, not the hearing of another man second hand. As you hear Christ set forth as the gift of God, faith is wrought in you, and that faith becomes the fountain, the foundation and the fosterer of all true obedience. Men will not obey God till they believe Him. We preach faith in order that men may be brought to obedience, for to disbelieve is to disobey. So give yourself to hear the Word daily, testing all things as goldsmiths test gold, and receiving the truth as babes drink milk, and the Spirit of God will come to you by that hearing.

And from that hearing must come doing. You rightly quote that faith without works is dead. Yet remember that we are not saved by our works, but we are saved unto good works. Justification is by faith alone through Jesus Christ our Lord, who is made of God unto us sanctification. The obedience we preach is not the obedience of a slave driven by terror, but the obedience of a child wrought by love. True faith will show itself by its works. You are not a good hearer so long as you are only a hearer, but when the heart is affected by the ear and the hand follows the heart, then your faith is proven. As Noah proved his faith by building according to the pattern God gave him, and as Abraham proved his by going out not knowing whither he went, so let your faith bring forth the gracious fruit of exact obedience, following the command as you learn it, sticking to the lines on which God has placed you.

And from doing, the Lord calls some to teaching, and you do well to desire it, for he that does and teaches the commandments shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. But no man can teach what he has not first heard and lived. Receive Christ by faith and He will teach you and create obedience in you, and then out of the abundance of what you have heard and done you will be able to feed others.

Our Father, we thank Thee for this longing heart and for the work of grace which has put this desire there. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, through whom alone is salvation, that Thou wouldst give a hearing ear and an understanding heart, that Thy Word may dwell richly within. Work in us by Thy Holy Spirit that by faith we may obey Thee with the willing obedience of children. Let faith show itself by works, not to earn Thy favor but because we have it in Christ. Grant grace to teach what is according to sound doctrine with meekness and truth. We ask for Thy favor, not as we deserve but as Thou givest freely in Christ, and for Thy blessings and Thy power to be made known, yet above all that Christ may be glorified. We pray against the principalities and powers of darkness, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, and we ask that Thou who performest all things for Thy people would keep us and perfect Thy work in us until the day of Christ. Let Thy glory be seen, abounding and abiding, in Thy church and throughout the world, that men may know that Thou art God and that Thou art a rewarder of them that diligently seek Thee. Hear us, O God Most High, for we cry unto Thee in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, with thanksgiving. Amen.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
