Let us turn to the Word of God to understand this matter rightly. In Mark 3:28-30 (WEB), Jesus says, "Most certainly I tell you, all sins of the children of man will be forgiven, including their blasphemies with which they may blaspheme; but whoever may blaspheme against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation, because they said, ‘He has an unclean spirit.’" The Pharisees committed this sin when they attributed the work of the Holy Spirit to Satan, despite witnessing Christ’s miracles firsthand. This was a deliberate, hardened rejection of God’s truth with full knowledge and understanding.
