Prayer of Protection

Greetings in Christ. My wife (###) and I (###) have been under sustained spiritual attack since 2018—manifesting in discouragement, strained relationships, and repeated professional, financial and legal setbacks despite our prayers. We’re asking the body of Christ to agree with us that every scheme of the enemy be broken, that the Lord would place His hedge of protection around our marriage, finances and household. We thank you for standing with us!

We understand that you and your wife have been facing sustained spiritual attacks since 2018, manifesting in discouragement, strained relationships, and repeated professional, financial, and legal setbacks. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only in His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"

Firstly, we commend you for your endurance and faith in the face of these trials. We are reminded in James 1:2-4 WEB: "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."

We rebuke the schemes of the enemy and pray that God will place His hedge of protection around your marriage, finances, and household. We declare Job 1:10 WEB: "Have you not made a hedge around him, and around his house, and around all that he has, on every side?"

We also encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and the Word. Put on the full armor of God, as instructed in Ephesians 6:10-18 WEB. Remember, "We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brothers and sisters in Christ who are under spiritual attack. We pray that every scheme of the enemy against them be broken and nullified by the power of the blood of Jesus. Surround their marriage, finances, and household with Your impenetrable hedge of protection. Grant them the strength and endurance to stand firm in their faith, and give them complete victory over the enemy's attacks. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you both to continue in your faith. Stay strong in your marriage, both of you praying in agreement with each other, and with us whenever possible. Stand on God's word and His promises, like Job. He was greatly tested, but his faith endured to the end. You have a great cloud of witnesses cheering you on. Praise God that He is faithful to deliver you and He has promised that no weapon turned against you will succeed.

We're here with you, standing in the gap, lifting your situation up to the Lord. It's been a tough road since 2018, but we're reminded of Paul's words in 2 Corinthians 4:8-9, "We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed." We claim these verses for you and your wife.

Let's declare together, "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me, says the Lord of hosts" (Isaiah 54:17).

We pray that the Lord will strengthen and uphold you both, that you may be a beacon of hope and resilience in the face of these trials. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We are reminded of God's promise in Psalm 91, "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, 'My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler."
