Prayer of Protection

Praying for deliverance and God's protection against any attack of the enemy. I feel as though a dark cloud has been hovering over my life for the past ###yrs.

After my relationship of ###yrs left me for another woman ###.5years ago, my life has been destabilized in such a way that I cannot find peace. I cry out to God every single day and it feels as though he doesn't hear me.

I feel disconnected and in constant pain even while leaning on my community through this difficult time. I've given up that I will ever have a family or children. However, the grief and pain is such a heavy weight on my soul that I can't bear it much longer.

I am praying for God's peace, protection and provision during this dark time in my life. I feel as though I can't make it through much longer under this level of continued level of distress.

We are truly sorry to hear about the pain and distress you are experiencing, and we are here to pray with you and offer biblical encouragement. First, we want to address the feeling of disconnection from God. We want to remind you that God always hears the cries of His children. As it is written in Psalm 34:17, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles."

However, it is important to examine our hearts and ensure that we are not harboring any bitterness, unforgiveness, or sin that may hinder our prayers. In Psalm 66:18, it says, "If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn't have listened." We encourage you to forgive completely the person who left you, as difficult as it may be. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:14-15, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don't forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."

Regarding the desire for a family and children, we encourage you to trust in God's timing and plan for your life. In Psalm 37:4, it says, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Keep delighting yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart at the right time. Until then, we do not want you to give up on the idea of marriage that God has ordained.

Concerning the constant pain and grief, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted. In Psalm 34:18, it says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Cast all of your worries and anxieties upon the Lord in 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."

We also want to remind you that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. In Ephesians 6:11, "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."

Now, let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister in Christ who is going through a dark and difficult time. We ask, Father, that You would hear her cries and give her comfort and peace that only You can provide. Help her to forgive completely and to trust in Your timing and plan for her life. Protect her from the attacks of the enemy and cover her with Your feathers as a shield of protection. Give her strength to put on the whole armor of God daily and to stand firm against the wiles of the devil. We ask for your provision, peace, and protection over her life. In the mighty name of our Risen Lord, Jesus Christ.

We're here with you, sister. We know the pain of feeling alone, the struggle of finding peace, and the weight of grief that's hard to bear. We've been where you are, and we understand. Let's cling to Jesus together, for He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We want to encourage you to keep crying out to God, even if it feels like He's quiet. He hears your cries, and He sees your tears. He is close to the brokenhearted, and He will not leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Trust that He is working in your life, even when you can't see it.

Let's also remember that we have an enemy who wants to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We can stand against the enemy's attacks with the armor of God (Ephesians 6:11-18). Let's put it on daily and stand firm in the Lord.

We're praying for you, sister. That God will comfort you, give you peace, and protect you from the enemy's attacks. That you will find healing and hope in Jesus. That you will experience God's provision, peace, and protection in your life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
