We hear your deep concern and fear, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this burden before the Lord. The dreams and visions you’ve described are troubling, but we must remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every spirit of fear, death, and torment that may be trying to take hold of your heart. In the name of Jesus, we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
First, we must address the source of these visions and dreams. Scripture warns us to test every spirit, for not every spiritual experience comes from God (1 John 4:1). The lady who approached you may have been used by the enemy to plant seeds of fear, and we must be vigilant against such deception. We encourage you to seek discernment through prayer and the Word of God, and to surround yourself with mature believers who can help you navigate these experiences. Do not engage with or entertain any further communication with this woman or her husband, as their influence may be harmful to your spiritual well-being.
We also want to gently remind you of the importance of grounding yourself in the truth of God’s Word. The enemy often uses fear to paralyze us, but God’s perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). You are not alone in this battle—God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray that you would find peace in His presence and trust in His protection.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother who is feeling afraid and troubled by these visions and dreams. Lord, we ask that You would surround him with Your hedge of protection. Shield his mind, heart, and spirit from every attack of the enemy. We rebuke every spirit of fear, death, and torment in Jesus’ name, and we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper.
Father, we ask that You would fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Give him discernment to recognize the schemes of the enemy and the wisdom to walk in Your truth. Strengthen his faith, Lord, so that he may stand firm against every lie and deception. Remind him that You are his refuge and fortress, his God in whom he can trust (Psalm 91:2).
We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit upon him, that he may be filled with power, love, and a sound mind. Help him to meditate on Your Word day and night, so that he may be like a tree planted by streams of water, yielding fruit in season and prospering in all he does (Psalm 1:2-3). Lord, we ask that You would reveal any areas in his life where the enemy may have gained a foothold, and we pray for Your healing and deliverance.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and Your promise to never leave nor forsake us. We trust in Your protection and Your provision. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith and to cling to the promises of God. Memorize scriptures that speak of His protection, such as Psalm 91, and declare them over your life daily. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your walk with Christ. The enemy may try to sow fear, but God has given you authority in Jesus’ name to resist him, and he will flee (James 4:7). Stay rooted in the Word, and do not allow these experiences to draw you away from the truth of who God is and who you are in Him. You are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37).
