We hear your cry for help and lift up your family before the throne of grace, trusting in the Lord who hears the prayers of His children. The struggles of this past year have weighed heavily upon you, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God is able to turn every trial into triumph according to His perfect will.
First, we must address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, for He Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* (John 16:23-24 WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so, for *"there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12 WEB). Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Now, we bring your requests before the Lord with hearts full of faith. The pain of unsaid words and unresolved struggles can burden a family, but we declare that God is the healer of broken hearts and the restorer of relationships. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* (Psalm 147:3 WEB). We pray that the Lord would mend what is fractured in your family, that He would soften hearts and open doors for reconciliation and peace. May every unspoken hurt be brought into the light of His love, and may forgiveness flow freely among you.
Father, we ask that You strengthen the faith of this family. In times of trial, it is easy to waver, but Your Word reminds us, *"Faith is assurance of things hoped for, proof of things not seen."* (Hebrews 11:1 WEB). Lord, increase their trust in You, that they may stand firm even when circumstances are difficult. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We also lift up the financial struggles of the parents. The Lord knows their needs before they even ask, and He promises to provide for His children. *"But my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* (Philippians 4:19 WEB). We pray for wisdom in managing resources, for open doors of opportunity, and for the peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May they experience Your provision in ways that bring glory to Your name.
For the sister facing academic challenges, we ask that You grant her clarity of mind, discipline, and perseverance. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* (James 1:5 WEB). Lord, equip her with the tools she needs to succeed, and let her find favor in the eyes of her teachers and mentors. May she grow not only in knowledge but also in wisdom and understanding, that she may walk in the purpose You have for her.
As this new year approaches, we declare that it will be a year of breakthrough, favor, and divine intervention for your family. The Lord is making all things new (Revelation 21:5), and we trust that He will turn your mourning into dancing and clothe you with joy (Psalm 30:11). We rebuke every spirit of lack, fear, and discouragement that has tried to take root in your lives. In the name of Jesus, we command these things to flee, for *"the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds."* (2 Corinthians 10:4 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of hope, lifting up this family to You. Lord, You see their struggles, their fears, and their desires, and we ask that You move mightily on their behalf. Heal the wounds that have gone unspoken, restore what has been broken, and strengthen their faith in You. Provide for their financial needs, Lord, and open doors that no man can shut. Grant wisdom and favor to the sister in her academic pursuits, and let this family walk in the fullness of Your blessings.
We declare that 2026 will be a year of divine turnaround, a year where Your promises manifest in their lives. Let them experience Your peace, Your provision, and Your presence in ways they have never known before. Teach them to trust in You with all their hearts and to lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). May they grow closer to You and to one another, united in love and purpose.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). May Your name be glorified in their lives, and may they walk in the victory that is already theirs through Christ Jesus.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
