Prayer: Letting Go Of Past Offenses

Dear Lord,

Thank You for taking our sins and washing them away as far as the east is from the west. We pray we would not take advantage of Your grace. We pray we would stop sinning. Holy Spirit, please help us to recognize our freedom in Christ and walk in that freedom every day. Please help us to let go of past offenses in our marriage. Please help us to not hang onto things that hurt us when we have already forgiven each other. In moments of weakness, please help us refrain from reminding each other of our past mistakes. We pray we would be able to see each other as You see us. Purify our hearts and our minds in Jesus’ name AMEN!
