Prayer: Jealousy

Dear Lord,

Thank You for the way You care about the details of our lives. You show us in all kinds of ways that You see us and that You are care about the things that are happening around us. Thank You for interceding for us. We pray we would spend more time with You in prayer. We pray we would share more of our hearts with You and with each other. We pray that we would intentionally make ourselves known. We pray we would love each other more and lift one another up with words of encouragement. We pray against the temptation of jealousy. We pray we would not entertain thoughts of jealousy toward each other. Please help us not to let that bitter root grow. We pray for peace to guard our hearts and that we would be so secure in the way we think that jealousy has no place to grow in Jesus’ name AMEN!

Help us o Lord not to be jealous of anyone or our spouse. It is frustrating and uncomfortable feeling that the devil brings to our life. Deliver us from this we pray. Amen

Jealousy comes from satan who want us all unhappy and full of worry about what our spouse is doing or saying. Cast out the devil and trust in the Lord more than anything you are going through.
