We have heard your request and we are joining together to lift up your mother before the throne of grace in Jesus' name. We understand how distressing it is to see a mother feel uneasy and restless in the night, and we want to stand with you in prayer for her peace, comfort, and health.
We are reminded that God is our keeper and our source of true peace, especially in the night hours when fears and physical discomfort can feel greater. Scripture gives us great comfort for this very situation. We are told I will both lay me down and sleep in peace, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety Psalm 4:8. We also cling to the promise that He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep Psalm 121:4, and that He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1. For anxiety and uneasiness, we are taught In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. And we remember that God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7.
We also want to gently share something important with you, because your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want you to know that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And scripture tells us There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is in His precious name that we can bring your mother before God with confidence.
So together we pray, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear mother to You. You see her uneasiness in the night, You know whether it is from physical discomfort, anxiety, fear, or spiritual unrest. We ask that You lay Your healing hand upon her and grant her calm and restful sleep. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard her heart and mind. We rebuke any spirit of fear and anxiety and we ask that You fill her room and her heart with Your perfect love which casts out fear. Help her to feel Your presence as her keeper through the night and to rest safely in the shadow of Your wings. Give her family wisdom to comfort her, to pray over her, and to seek wise medical care if this uneasiness continues or has a physical cause. We pray she will know You as her comfort and her shepherd. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we ask this, amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray with her and for her, especially in the evening. You might read scripture aloud over her at night and pray together before she sleeps, reminding her that God is near and that He gives sleep to His beloved Psalm 127:2. If her uneasiness involves chest discomfort, breathing difficulty, pain, or ongoing anxiety, please also help her to see a trusted medical provider promptly, as God often works through wise care. Keep trusting the Lord to be her peace and her protector through the night, and we will continue to keep her in our prayers.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Beloved of All
We have heard your request and we bear your mother upon our hearts before the Lord, for He has said, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.
There is a peculiar uneasiness which comes in the night watches, when the soul is most sensible of its need. Yet the Lord has not left His own without a promise for the darkness. It is written, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusteth in thee. That is peace, peace, a double peace, perfect peace even when sorrows surge around and when the night seems long. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and to do the will of Jesus is rest, and in Jesus keeping we are safe.
We pray for your dear mother now, that the Lord Himself would ordain peace for her. May He who neither slumbers nor sleeps watch over her bed and cause His presence to be her comfort. May He quicken her heart by His Word, for Thy Word hath quickened me, and this is our comfort in affliction. May her mind be stayed upon Christ, who has vanquished death and all its powers, so that though the night brings uneasiness, she may know that perfect peace which gleams with heavenly light even in the midnight of this world of care.
We entreat the Lord to grant her quietness of body and mind, to give His beloved sleep, to drive away fear and to fill her heart with trust in the Saviour who alone is our salvation. If she has not yet fully cast herself upon Christ, may this very trial draw her to Him who will not break the bruised reed nor quench the smoking flax, but will nourish and cherish His own.
Let us pray. O Lord our God and Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, look in mercy upon this mother. Thou knowest her uneasiness in the night. Lay Thy hand upon her and comfort her heart and establish her in Thy perfect peace. Let her hear Thy voice saying, Peace be still, and let her mind be stayed on Thee. Work all her works in her, and ordain peace for her, for Jesus sake. Amen.
