Beloved of All
We have heard your prayer for her and we join you in bringing her before the Lord with hope.
We pray that God in His mercy will draw her to Himself and that she will not put off salvation, but will confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that God raised Him from the dead, for this is the short and sure way of salvation. There is no other name by which we are saved, and we ask that she will accept Jesus Christ as her Savior and receive forgiveness and new life in Him.
We also pray that the Lord will work in her life to give her true peace and comfort. He is the God of mercies who delivers us, and we ask that she will know His presence and His calm, resting as in a harbor without a wave, as He brings her heart to rest in Him.
For the self destructive habits that have held her, we pray for strength to break them. Habit has great power to lead us astray, but it can also be corrected by grace and by steady self restraint. We pray that God will help her surround herself with faithful people who will watch over her and encourage her, a friend, family, others in the church, to hold her accountable and to walk with her day by day. As she turns from old ways and practices virtue, even for a short time, that new and better habit will take root and what once was difficult will become easier, bringing pure and lasting joy.
We will continue to pray that she will watch and stand fast in the faith, that she will know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and that she will find freedom, healing and comfort in Him. May the Lord hear your prayers for her and draw her fully to Himself. Amen.
