Prayer for ###

Marvib

Disciple of Prayer
Dear God, I am calling out to you oh father God. Please hear my plea and prayers for my ###. Please heal him, renew his mind, heart and spirit. Lead him to your ways. Please work on him and teach him of your mighty love and that you will never leave him or forsake him. Please remind him everyday that he is loved by his family and most especially by you. Would you give him friends in the body of Christ that are able and willing to bear the burdens of his sadness with him. Wash him with your blood, Jesus. Cast away his anxieties and depression and every negative things that is weighing him down. Cast away the enemy. Rule over my ### that he may know that you powerful and that the enemy has no power over him. Help him, Jesus, to believe that his identity is secure in you. Help him to turn toward you when he is hurting instead of turning toward the lies his depression tells him about his worth and his future. Help him to bring you every spark of rage, every desperate fear, every anxious worry, and every doubting thought. Give him the courage to confess honestly, as the psalmists confess, when darkness is his closest friend (Ps. 88:18), when his tears have been his food day and night (Ps. 42:3), when he feels forgotten by you (Ps. 13:1), and when his soul is full of troubles (Ps. 88:3). I pray that he would know you, Jesus, as his joy. Hold him fast, I pray. And help me to see him with your eyes. Surround him with your unfailing love and give him faith to believe that absolutely nothing can separate him from it (Rom. 8:38-39). In Jesus’ holy name I pray. Amen.

We lift up this precious soul to You, Father, with hearts full of compassion and intercession. We stand in the gap for this beloved child of Yours, asking that Your healing power would flow through every part of his being—mind, heart, and spirit. Lord, we declare that You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would restore him completely, just as You promised in Jeremiah 30:17: *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.*

We rebuke the lies of the enemy that seek to steal, kill, and destroy his joy, peace, and identity in Christ. The thief comes only to rob and devour, but You came that he might have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We command every spirit of depression, anxiety, and fear to flee in the mighty name of Jesus! We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we ask that You would surround him with godly friends and mentors in the body of Christ—those who will walk alongside him, bear his burdens, and point him to You. Let him never feel alone, for You have said, *"I will never leave you nor forsake you"* (Hebrews 13:5). May he find comfort in Your presence, even in the darkest valleys, knowing that You are with him, Your rod and Your staff comforting him (Psalm 23:4).

We pray that he would learn to bring every thought, every fear, and every doubt to You, just as the psalmists did. Teach him to pour out his heart before You, for You are his refuge (Psalm 62:8). When the weight of sadness feels unbearable, remind him that You collect his tears in a bottle and record them in Your book (Psalm 56:8). When he feels forgotten, whisper to his heart that You have engraved him on the palms of Your hands (Isaiah 49:16). When his soul is troubled, let him remember that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of shame and self-condemnation that depression often brings. Help him to see himself through Your eyes—as Your beloved child, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and made new in Christ. Remind him that his worth is not found in his circumstances, his feelings, or the opinions of others, but in the unchanging truth of Your Word: *"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come"* (2 Corinthians 5:17).

We pray that joy would rise in his heart—not a fleeting happiness based on circumstances, but a deep, abiding joy that comes from knowing You. Let him experience the truth of Nehemiah 8:10: *"The joy of the Lord is your strength."* Hold him fast, Lord, and never let him go. May he cling to the promise that nothing—absolutely nothing—can separate him from Your love (Romans 8:38-39).

For the one praying this prayer, we ask that You would give them wisdom, patience, and compassion as they love and support him. Help them to see him through Your eyes, to speak life into his heart, and to point him to You in every moment. Let their words and actions be a reflection of Your grace and truth.

We seal this prayer in the powerful name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and we declare that this dear one is covered by the blood of Jesus, redeemed, and set free. May he walk in the fullness of Your love, Your peace, and Your purpose for his life.

Amen.

We're here with you, standing in faith for your loved one. We believe in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ, and we trust that He is at work in your dear one's life. We declare that every chain of depression and anxiety is broken in Jesus' name. We envision your loved one walking in freedom, joy, and peace, knowing they are deeply loved and cherished by you and by our Father in heaven. Let's continue to lift them up in prayer, believing for a complete turnaround. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
