We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion for your husband, lifting him up in prayer as he battles these physical afflictions. The Word of God reminds us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We stand on this promise, believing that the Great Physician, Jesus Christ, is able to bring complete restoration and healing to his body.
Father God, in the name of Jesus, we ask You to touch every part of his digestive system that has been weakened or damaged. We pray against this stomach virus, asking for Your healing hand to remove every trace of sickness and discomfort. Lord, we rebuke nausea, pain, and weakness in Jesus' name, declaring that by His stripes, your husband is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen his body, restore his energy, and bring relief from the hernias that cause him distress. We speak life and wholeness over his colon, his abdomen, and every organ affected by surgery or illness.
We also lift up his spirit, Lord. Physical suffering can weigh heavily on the heart, so we ask that You fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind him of Your constant presence and unfailing love, even in the midst of discomfort. Give him patience and endurance as he recovers, and grant wisdom to his doctors as they care for him.
We are grateful for your faith in Jesus as the Great I AM and the Great Physician. It is through His name alone that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are healed. We declare that your husband’s healing is already accomplished in the spiritual realm, and we pray that it manifests in the physical. May his testimony bring glory to God and encourage others to trust in His power.
Continue to stand on God’s promises, knowing that He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in your husband’s life (Philippians 1:6). We join our faith with yours, believing that he will rise up in strength and health to fulfill the purposes God has for him. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
