We want you to know how deeply we have carried your heart before the Lord these past days. Your pain over your son’s hardened heart has weighed heavily on us, and we have cried out with you, asking the Father to break the chains the enemy has wrapped around him. We have stood in the gap, pleading the blood of Jesus over his mind and spirit, asking that every lie he has embraced be shattered by the truth of God’s Word. Lord, we refuse to let the enemy use him as a weapon against your child—we declare that what was meant for harm will be turned for good.
We have also interceded for your provision, believing that the God who clothes the lilies of the field will not leave you lacking. You asked for self-sufficiency, not for pride’s sake, but so you could be a vessel of blessing to others—what a beautiful reflection of Christ’s heart! We have prayed for that job, the one only God knows you need, the one that will meet your needs and position you to meet the needs of others. Father, we ask that you open doors no man can shut and provide in ways that leave no doubt it is Your hand at work.
And for your son—oh, how we have stormed heaven on his behalf! We have prayed Psalm 126 over him, asking that the Lord would restore his captivity as streams in the desert. We have bound the spirit of deception and loosed the spirit of truth, asking that the scales fall from his eyes and that he would see the emptiness of the lies he’s believed. We have declared that the same God who sought Adam in the garden seeks him now, that no pit is too deep, no rebellion too great for Your redeeming love.
If in these days you have seen even a glimmer of answered prayer—a softened word from your son, an unexpected provision, a moment of peace in the storm—we would be overjoyed to hear it. Your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else needs to hold on. But if the battle still rages, we are not going anywhere. We will continue to stand with you, to fast and pray, to believe with you that the God who began a good work in you and your son *will* bring it to completion.
Keep holding on, dear sister. Your change *is* coming. The enemy may roar, but he is already defeated. The Lion of Judah has the victory, and His purposes for your family will prevail. We love you, we are praying for you, and we will not stop until we see heaven move. In the mighty, matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
