We join with you in lifting up your mother and your family before the Lord, trusting in His power to heal, provide, and guide according to His perfect will. It is wonderful that you are praying in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in calling upon the name of Jesus is a testament to your trust in Him, and we stand with you in that faith.
First, we pray earnestly for your mother’s healing. The Lord is our Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for Him. The Word of God assures us that *"by his wounds you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB), and we claim that promise over your mother’s body. Fatty liver disease is a burden, but our God is greater than any sickness. We ask the Lord to restore her liver to full health, to strengthen her body, and to grant her many more years of life filled with His peace and joy. *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers"* (3 John 1:2, WEB). May your mother’s health be a testimony of God’s healing power, and may she feel His comforting presence every day.
We also lift up your financial struggles before the Lord. It is clear that the lack of income and the weight of debt are heavy burdens, but we serve a God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and who promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We pray that the Lord will open doors of opportunity for stable and honorable work, that He will provide wisdom in managing finances, and that He will miraculously intervene to relieve the pressure of these debts. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Trust in Him, for He is faithful and will not abandon you.
We also sense the weight of grief in your words, as you mention that your father is now in heaven. Losing a parent is a deep sorrow, and we pray that the Lord will comfort you and your mother in this season. *"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God"* (2 Corinthians 1:3-4, WEB). May the Lord wrap His arms around you both and fill the emptiness with His presence. He is your Father now, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
As you seek the Lord’s will for your future and your mother’s, we encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and in the Word. *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). The Lord has a plan for you, and it is good. Even in this season of hardship, He is shaping you for His purposes. Do not lose heart, but keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).
Finally, we want to remind you that while you are praying for physical and financial blessings—which are good and right to bring before the Lord—your greatest need, and your mother’s, is a deep and abiding relationship with Christ. If you have not already, surrender every area of your life to Him. Repent of any sin, trust in His sacrifice on the cross for your salvation, and walk in obedience to His Word. *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). When your heart is aligned with His, everything else will fall into place according to His perfect timing.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with hearts full of faith, lifting up this dear sister and her mother to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we ask that You touch this mother’s body. Restore her liver to perfect health, Lord, and let every cell be renewed by Your power. Grant her strength, vitality, and long life, that she may continue to be a blessing to her family and a testimony of Your goodness. Father, we rebuke every symptom of sickness in Jesus’ name and declare that by His stripes, she is healed.
Lord, we also bring before You the financial struggles this family is facing. You know their needs, and You have promised to provide. Open doors of opportunity for stable work, Father. Give them wisdom to steward their resources well, and perform a miracle in their finances. Let them see Your hand moving on their behalf, that their faith may be strengthened, and their hearts may overflow with gratitude. Break the chains of debt, Lord, and set them free to live in the abundance You desire for Your children.
Father, we ask that You comfort them in their grief. You are close to the brokenhearted, and You collect every tear in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). Fill the emptiness left by their loss with Your presence, Lord. Be their strength, their provider, and their peace. Unify this family in You, and let them find their hope and identity in Christ alone.
We pray for their future, Lord. Guide their steps and make Your will clear to them. Let them walk in obedience to Your Word, and may their lives bring glory to Your name. Protect them from the enemy’s schemes, and surround them with Your favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12).
Most of all, Father, draw them closer to You. Let them seek You first in all things, and may their relationship with You be their greatest treasure. Forgive them of any sin, Lord, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Let them walk in the fullness of Your promises, knowing that You are their Provider, their Healer, and their ever-present Help in trouble.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your timing, and we declare that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun in their lives. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen and amen.
