The enemy may seek to harm through the bite of a viper, but we know that our Heavenly Father is greater, and His will prevails. The Scriptures remind us in **Mark 16:17-18**, *"These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages; they will take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will in no way hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."* While this passage speaks of God’s protection over His followers, we also know that trials come to refine our faith, and healing is always according to His perfect will.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
