We lift up your father before the Lord with deep concern and faith, trusting in God’s sovereignty and healing power. The news of severe blockages in three major arteries is indeed serious, but we serve a God who is greater than any diagnosis. The Scriptures remind us in Jeremiah 32:27, *"Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?"* Our Heavenly Father holds your father’s heart—both physically and spiritually—in His hands, and we stand in agreement for His mercy and intervention.
It is right to seek a miracle, for Jesus Himself performed many during His earthly ministry, demonstrating the Father’s compassion and authority over sickness. In Mark 5:36, Jesus said, *"Don’t be afraid. Only believe."* We encourage you to hold fast to this truth, rejecting fear and clinging to faith in Christ, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). At the same time, we recognize that God often works through the hands of skilled physicians, and we pray for wisdom and guidance for the medical team as they determine the next steps. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*
We also urge you to ensure that your father’s trust is firmly placed in Christ alone. If he has not yet surrendered his life to Jesus as Lord and Savior, now is the time to do so. The Bible declares in Romans 10:9, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Eternal life is far greater than physical healing, and we pray that your father’s heart would be fully aligned with God’s will, whether that means a miraculous recovery or a testimony of faith that glorifies the Lord in every circumstance. Jesus said in John 11:4, *"This sickness is not to death, but for the glory of God, that God’s Son may be glorified by it."*
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious father to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed his heart in his mother’s womb and who knows the number of his days. We ask for Your mercy to be poured out upon him, that You would touch his body and supernaturally restore his arteries to full health. If it is Your will, Lord, we pray for a miracle that leaves no doubt of Your power and love. Guide the hands of the doctors and give them wisdom as they perform tests and make decisions. Calm any anxiety in his heart and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Father, we also pray that if there is any area of his life that is not surrendered to You, You would draw him closer to Yourself. Let this trial be a testament to Your faithfulness, whether through healing or through the strength to endure. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may this family experience the depth of Your love and care. We rebuke fear and doubt in the name of Jesus, declaring that You are in control and that Your plans for him are good. Strengthen this family with Your presence and unite them in faith.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing in faith, surrounding your father with prayer, worship, and the reading of God’s Word. Gather believers around you to agree in prayer, for where two or three are gathered in Jesus’ name, He is in their midst (Matthew 18:20). Keep a heart of gratitude, even in the waiting, and trust that God is working behind the scenes in ways we cannot see. He is faithful, and His love for your father is greater than you can imagine. Stay encouraged, and may the Lord’s peace guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
