Beloved of All
Lord, I am a single man, age ###. Due to long working hours, I did not have time to mix around with people. Lord, I come before you and I have many flaws. Lord, if it is your will, please guide me to a future medical doctor wife who fears you and aligns with my values. Lord, may future medical doctor wife accepts and love me despite I am low income. May she be by my side through all of life's challenges. May she be a mother. May she experience joy of bringing up the children. May you orchestrate the circumstances of our meeting and relationship, bringing us together in your perfect timing. May she takes care of me when I am sick. Lord, please bless her with your grace and wisdom as she navigates her demanding work as a medical doctor. Please give me discernment to know if she is the one chosen by you. Lord, if you think I will cheat her money, please guide me to a medical doctor wife who is not rich. Lord, I trust in your timing. I am open to your will whoever comes into my life. Lord, I pray for those who wanted to marry a medical doctor wife, please help them to fulfill their wishes. Thank you, heavenly father, in the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

We join you in lifting up your heart’s desire for a godly wife, and we praise you for bringing this request before the Lord in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Your humility and trust in God’s timing are commendable, and we see your sincere longing for a marriage that honors Him. Let us first affirm that marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God, a lifelong union between one man and one woman, reflecting Christ’s love for His Church. Your request for a wife who fears the Lord is wise, for *"a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised"* (Proverbs 31:30). A marriage built on shared faith in Christ is the strongest foundation, and we encourage you to seek a spouse who is not only a believer but one who walks closely with the Lord, for *"don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers"* (2 Corinthians 6:14).

We also notice your concern about financial disparities and the fear of being perceived as someone who might take advantage of a spouse’s wealth. This is a noble consideration, for Scripture warns against the love of money and the potential for it to corrupt relationships. *"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil"* (1 Timothy 6:10). However, we gently remind you that marriage is not about financial equality but about mutual love, respect, and submission to Christ. A godly wife will not be concerned with your income but with your character, your faith, and your willingness to lead her spiritually. *"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her"* (Ephesians 5:25). Your role as a husband will be to love her as Christ loves the Church, sacrificially and selflessly, regardless of worldly measures.

That said, we must also address the specificity of your request for a "medical doctor wife." While it is not wrong to have preferences, we urge you to surrender this desire entirely to the Lord. God’s ways are higher than ours, and His plans for your life may not align with your exact expectations. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6). A wife who is a medical doctor may indeed be part of God’s plan, but we pray you remain open to however He chooses to answer. What matters most is that she is a woman of God, one who will walk beside you in faith, serve with you in ministry, and raise children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

We also note your mention of long working hours and isolation. While it is good to be diligent in your work, we encourage you to seek balance and community. *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his companion; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up"* (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). Even now, before marriage, God calls you to be part of His body, the Church. We urge you to invest time in fellowship with other believers, serving alongside them, and growing in your faith. This will not only prepare you for marriage but also position you to meet a godly woman in a setting that honors the Lord.

Lastly, we commend you for your trust in God’s timing, but we also remind you to be proactive in your pursuit of a spouse. Courtship should be intentional, with the goal of marriage in mind. *"He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh"* (Proverbs 18:22). Seek wisdom and discernment, and do not rush ahead of the Lord. Pray for her now, even before you meet her, that God would prepare her heart as He prepares yours.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother before You, thanking You for his heart of humility and his desire for a marriage that honors You. Lord, You know his longings, his fears, and his hopes. We ask that You prepare him to be the husband You have called him to be—one who loves sacrificially, leads spiritually, and serves selflessly. Father, if it is Your will, bring a godly wife into his life, a woman who fears You and walks in Your ways. Let her be a helper suitable for him, a woman of strength, wisdom, and grace. Lord, we pray that You would orchestrate their meeting in Your perfect timing, knitting their hearts together in a bond that reflects Your love for Your Church.

We ask that You remove any idols from his heart, including specific expectations that may not align with Your plan. Help him to trust You completely, knowing that Your ways are higher and Your plans are good. Prepare him now, Lord, to be a man of prayer, integrity, and faith. If there are areas in his life that need refinement—whether in his work ethic, his relationships, or his walk with You—reveal them to him and give him the strength to change.

For the woman You have for him, wherever she may be, we pray for her now. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and prepare her heart to be a wife and mother who seeks Your kingdom first. If she is in a demanding profession, grant her wisdom, endurance, and a heart that prioritizes You above all else. Let their union be one that brings You glory, raises up children in Your ways, and serves as a light in this world.

We rebuke any spirit of loneliness or discouragement in our brother’s life. Fill him with Your peace and the assurance that You are working all things together for his good. Surround him with godly community that encourages him in this season of waiting. And Father, if there are others praying for a spouse, especially those desiring a godly marriage, we ask that You hear their cries and move mightily in their lives. Let them not grow weary in waiting but trust in Your perfect timing.

We declare all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, the One through whom all our prayers are heard. May Your will be done in our brother’s life, and may he walk in faith, hope, and love until the day You bring his wife to him. Amen.

Dear friend,

We're right there with you, lifting up your heart's desire for a godly wife. It's beautiful to see your humility and trust in God's timing. We're reminded of King Solomon's prayer, "Give your servant therefore an understanding heart to judge your people, that I may discern between good and evil" (1 Kings 3:9). We pray that God grants you wisdom and discernment in this journey.

We're also moved by your concern for financial disparities and your desire to honor God in all aspects of your future marriage. Remember, "Love is not self-seeking" (1 Corinthians 13:5). A godly wife will love you for who you are, not for what you have. Trust that God will provide and guide you both in this matter.

We join you in surrendering your preferences to God. While it's not wrong to have desires, let's remember that "the heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps" (Proverbs 16:9). Be open to God's plan, even if it differs from your current expectations.

Let's also encourage you to maintain balance in your life. While work is important, so is fellowship and community. As it's written, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor" (Ecclesiastes 4:9). Seek out fellow believers to grow with and serve alongside.

Lastly, keep praying. Pray for your future wife now, that God would prepare her heart even before you meet. And remember, "He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord" (Proverbs 18:22).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You for our brother's humble heart and his desire for a marriage that honors You. Lord, we ask that You prepare him to be the husband You've called him to be - one who loves sacrificially, leads spiritually, and serves selflessly. If it's Your will, bring a godly wife into his life, a woman who fears You and walks in Your ways. Help him to trust You completely, knowing that Your ways are higher and Your plans are good. Strengthen and prepare his future wife, wherever she may be, to be a woman of faith, a wife, and a mother who seeks Your kingdom first. Let their union bring You glory, raise up children in Your ways, and serve as a light in this world. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
