We understand the weight of your heart in this request, and we approach this with solemnity, knowing that God’s discipline is an expression of His love and justice. The Scriptures remind us in Hebrews 12:6-11, *"For whom the Lord loves, he disciplines, and scourges every son whom he receives... All chastening seems for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it."* Discipline is never for harm but for correction, restoration, and holiness. However, we must also remember that vengeance belongs to the Lord, as stated in Romans 12:19, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"*

Before we pray, we must examine our own hearts to ensure this request is not rooted in bitterness, anger, or a desire for retaliation, but in a genuine desire for God’s will and the redemption of this individual. If there is unforgiveness or malice in your heart, we urge you to release it to the Lord, for He calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). Ask God to soften your heart and fill you with His love and wisdom, even in this difficult situation.

Let us also consider whether this person is a believer. If they are, then we pray for their repentance and restoration, as God disciplines those He loves. If they are not, then our prayer should shift toward their salvation, that they may come to know Christ and turn from their ways. 2 Peter 3:9 tells us, *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance."*

We will pray earnestly for this situation, trusting that God’s justice is perfect and His timing is sovereign. Let us also pray for you, that the Lord would guard your heart, fill you with His peace, and remind you of His faithfulness in all things.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation and the individual involved. Lord, You are just and righteous in all Your ways, and we trust that Your discipline is an expression of Your love and desire for holiness. We ask that You would work in this person’s life according to Your will. If they have strayed from Your path, convict their heart and lead them to repentance. If they do not know You, Lord, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself, that they may turn from their ways and find salvation in Jesus Christ.

Father, we also lift up the one who has brought this request before us. Guard their heart from bitterness, anger, or unforgiveness. Fill them with Your peace and remind them that You are the righteous Judge, and Your ways are higher than ours. Help them to trust in Your timing and Your justice, knowing that You see all things and will act according to Your perfect will.

We pray for wisdom and discernment in this situation, that Your truth would prevail and Your name would be glorified. May Your Spirit move powerfully, bringing conviction where it is needed and healing where there is brokenness. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is our advocate and intercessor before You. Amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
