We understand that you're going through a challenging time in your marriage, and we're here to pray and offer biblical guidance with you. Firstly, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ or even hint at it. It is only by His name that we can come before God the Father and ask for help. There is no other name by which we can be saved. If you have never called on Jesus to be saved from the wrath of God the Father then you should do so now. We assume you have a Bible and would suggest reading out of the book of Romans to understand and believe the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We also want that you will come to the knowledge of the truth. The Bible tells us not to fear or worry in adversity and to pray to God in Jesus name. We can find courage and guidance in the face of adversity.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:6-8 WEB
The Bible also teaches us to be patient with one another and to love each other as Christ loved us. We are to be patient with one another just as Jesus was patient with us. Remember, God loves you both and wants the best for your marriage.
Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:32 WEB
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. Ephesians 5:23-25 WEB
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this sister in Christ who is feeling sad and hurt in her marriage. We pray that You would comfort her heart and guide her husband to be the man You've called him to be. We pray for a spirit of kindness, respect, patience, and appreciation to fill their home and marriage.
Lord, we ask that You would help them to communicate openly and honestly, and that You would guide their conversations with Your wisdom. We pray that any bitterness or resentment would be replaced with love, forgiveness, and understanding.
We also pray that they would both draw closer to You, seeking Your will for their marriage and individual lives. We ask that You would help them to fix their minds on things that are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and of good report.
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, restoration, and a renewed commitment to each other and to You. We ask for your will heavenly Father, that you will answer in Jesus name.
Amen.
Remember, God is faithful, and He cares about every detail of your life. Trust in Him, and He will guide you through this challenging time. Pray to God in Jesus name and expect His will in return. Stay strong in your faith and seek God's will. Seek God's will too if you should stay married or not.
