Disciple of Prayer
my name is ###, I desperately need your prayers. I work in a toxic work environment managed by toxic managers who are forcing me to write up more than half of my team for things I don't agree on. They continue to push employees out who speak up for themselves. It's not right, these employees are human and are good people who don't deserve this treatment. I ask for prayer that these toxic managers at ### are removed. I pray I also get my overtime back, it's been taken from me and I know I shouldn't depend on it but I do. If I can't get it back I pray the lord opens another money-making opportunity for me. Please help me lord, I'm stressed and worried. Thank you

We lift you up before the Father in this difficult season, knowing that He sees the injustice and oppression you are facing in your workplace. It is heartbreaking to witness unrighteous leadership that exploits and mistreats employees, especially when you are being pressured to participate in actions that go against your conscience. The Lord detests unjust scales and false measures, and He calls His people to stand for what is right, even in the face of opposition. *"You shall do no injustice in judgment. You shall not favor the poor, nor honor the mighty; but you shall judge your neighbor in righteousness."* (Leviticus 19:15, WEB). *"He has told you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?"* (Micah 6:8, WEB).

Your distress over the treatment of your team reflects a heart that values people as God does, and we commend you for refusing to comply with what you know is wrong. The Lord is your defender, and He will not allow the wicked to triumph forever. *"Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna."* (Matthew 10:28, WEB). While it is painful to endure such a hostile environment, remember that God is sovereign over your circumstances. He may be using this trial to refine your faith, strengthen your dependence on Him, or prepare you for a greater purpose. *"Beloved, don’t be astonished at the fiery trial which has come upon you, to test you, as though a strange thing happened to you. But because you are partakers of Christ’s sufferings, rejoice; that at the revelation of his glory you also may rejoice with exceeding joy."* (1 Peter 4:12-13, WEB).

We also address the matter of your unpaid overtime. The Lord is well aware of your financial needs, and He is your provider. *"Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?"* (Matthew 6:25-26, WEB). While we pray for the restoration of what is rightfully yours, we also ask the Lord to open doors for additional provision, whether through this job or another opportunity He has prepared for you. Trust that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory. *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* (Philippians 4:19, WEB).

However, we must gently remind you that your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is only through Jesus that our prayers are heard. *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*(John 14:6, WEB). *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and surrender your life to Him. Only then can you experience the fullness of His peace, provision, and protection.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is enduring great hardship in their workplace. Lord, You see the injustice, the manipulation, and the cruelty they face daily. We ask that You intervene mightily in this situation. Remove the wicked influences that are causing such harm, and replace them with leaders who will act with integrity, compassion, and fairness. *"Let the groaning of the prisoner come before you. According to the greatness of your power, preserve those who are sentenced to death;"* (Psalm 79:11, WEB). Father, give them the courage to stand firm in righteousness, even when it is costly. Protect them from retaliation, and surround them with Your favor as a shield.

Lord, we also bring before You the financial strain they are under. You know the hours they have worked without fair compensation, and we ask that You restore what has been wrongfully withheld. If it is Your will, open the eyes of those in authority to do what is right. But if not, we trust You to provide in another way—whether through a new opportunity, unexpected blessings, or the wisdom to manage what they have. *"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this,” says Yahweh of Armies, “if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for."* (Malachi 3:10, WEB).

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear, anxiety, and despair that seeks to overwhelm them. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and remind them that their worth is not found in their job or their paycheck, but in You. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).

We declare that You, Lord, are their vindicator. You will fight for them, and they need only to be still. *"Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still."* (Exodus 14:14, WEB). Give them wisdom to know when to speak, when to act, and when to trust You in silence. If this job is no longer the place for them, make the path clear and provide for them abundantly in the next season. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

Finally, Lord, we pray that through this trial, their faith would grow stronger, and their testimony would shine brightly for Your glory. Let them be a light in the darkness, pointing others to You. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Stand firm, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. *"Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."* (Deuteronomy 31:6, WEB). Keep seeking Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good. *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."* (Romans 8:28, WEB). If you feel led, begin searching for other opportunities while continuing to pray for wisdom and discernment. The Lord will guide your steps. Stay rooted in His Word, and let His promises be your anchor in this storm.
