Prayer for wise counsel and good company

Dear Family Of God, Today I'd like to pray for wise counsel and good company to bear long lasting fruit and be a better servant. I pray for favor favor favor. I pray for miracles miracles miracles in pray for blessings blessings blessings. I'd like to pray against principalities and powers of darkness in high places. I pray for extreme, unmatched, unstoppable, unspeakable, abundantly, abounding glory all over the world. Please stand with me in faith and prayer over this. All these things I humbly ask in Jesus Christ name with thanksgiving. Thank you.

We stand with you in faith and thank God for your desire for wise counsel, good company, lasting fruit and to be a better servant for His glory, and we rejoice that you have humbly asked all these things in the name of Jesus Christ with thanksgiving.

The Word shows us how vital this request is, for blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked Psalm 1:1, and he who walks with wise men will be wise Proverbs 13:20. Without counsel plans fail, but in a multitude of counselors they are established Proverbs 15:22. We also take to heart your prayer against darkness, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. And we know that apart from Christ we can do nothing, but as we abide in Him we bear much fruit to the glory of the Father John 15:5, John 15:8.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we lift up this dear one to You with thanksgiving. Lord, grant wisdom liberally as You have promised, for if any lacks wisdom, let him ask of You who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to him James 1:5. Surround this life with godly counsel and good company that fears You and walks in truth, that iron may sharpen iron Proverbs 27:17 and that together they may bear lasting fruit that remains. We ask for Your favor, not for selfish gain but for open doors to serve You more faithfully, for Your Word says you will bless the righteous and surround him with favor as with a shield Psalm 5:12. We ask for Your miracles and blessings according to Your perfect will, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think Ephesians 3:20, and that every good gift is from You James 1:17. We pray against every principality and power of darkness in high places, and we put on the whole armor of God that we may stand firm, clothed in truth, righteousness, the preparation of the gospel of peace, faith, salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word Ephesians 6:11-17. Let Your glory be seen, for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of Your glory as the waters cover the sea Habakkuk 2:14, and may this life be a vessel that reflects that glory in unstoppable and abounding measure through humble obedience. Make this servant fruitful in every good work, increasing in the knowledge of God Colossians 1:10, and establish the work of his hands for Your name's sake. We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him first, for His kingdom and His righteousness Matthew 6:33, trusting that as you delight yourself in the Lord He will give you the desires of your heart that align with His will Psalm 37:4. Remain in the Word daily, in prayer and in fellowship with believers who will speak truth in love and hold you accountable, for that is where wise counsel and good company are found, and that is where abiding fruit grows. We continue to stand with you for the abundantly abounding glory of God to be made known in and through your life.

Thank you for sharing this prayer so openly. We can hear how much you want to walk well, to be surrounded by good company, to bear fruit that lasts and serve the Lord faithfully. That desire itself is a good gift.

Wanting wise counsel is wise. The people we walk closely with shape our choices, our perspective, even our courage. It helps to be intentional about who we listen to and spend time with, seeking those who love Jesus, speak honestly, and live faithfully over time.

One simple next step that often helps is to name one or two such people in your own church or community and invite them into a more regular rhythm, even a brief time to pray and talk honestly every week or two. It does not have to be formal, just consistent and honest, asking God together for clarity.

We are standing with you in faith for God's favor and leading as you seek Him.

Father, we lift our friend to You with thanksgiving. Grant discernment in choosing company and counsel, guard from what would distract or harm, and make their life fruitful in serving You. Lead them step by step and let Your glory be seen in and through them. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We join you in this wise and good desire, for to seek wise counsel and good company is to seek the path of fruitfulness and faithful service to the Lord.

It is written that the fear of the Lord is blessed, and they that fear God know Him to be infinitely loving, immutable and unchangeable, unsearchably wise and omnipotently strong on their behalf, and having confidence in such a God through the full atonement made for sin, they walk in a holy awe which keeps them from presumption and leads them to ask counsel and guidance at His mercy seat in every diversity of circumstance. This blessed fear we pray the Lord will cultivate in you, that you may not lean to your own understanding but refer yourself to the All Wise One.

We pray that you may have fellowship with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ, for there is no wiser counsel than that of Incarnate Wisdom speaking out of the Word of God, and no better company than those whose hearts are knit to Christ and who have fellowship with Him in communion and sympathy and unity. May the Lord surround you with godly friends who will hedge you with their prayers and stir you up to love and good works, and keep you from the way of the hypocrite who professes much but follows not the statutes and ordinances of the Lord.

We pray also that your service may be true personal service, not by proxy or in word only, but truly His servant, wearing out your strength in devotion to Him with a devout spirit in everything you do, that you may bear long lasting fruit to His glory.

We ask the Lord to grant you favor according to His will, to show His power and mercy in your life, and to pour out His blessings as He sees fit for your good and His honor. We stand with you against the principalities and powers of darkness, knowing that our God is merciful and just, and that He who has revealed His counsel unto babes will keep those who trust Him. May His glory be seen and His name praised, and may all that is asked be sanctified to His use and made honorable to Himself.

We thank God for your thanksgiving and we ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who has said, Him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out, trusting that He hears and will answer according to His perfect wisdom and love. Amen.
