Prayer for wife

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please pray for ### who is experiencing health issues in ###. We pray for complete healing and that whether it is ### or ###, it will completely disappear. We pray that any medical test she takes will find no disease or illness. Thank you for your prayers

We lift up ### and her health concerns with heavy hearts, standing in faith that our God is the Great Physician. The Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over her life, believing that by Jesus' stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Whether the issue is ### or ###, we rebuke it in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding every cell in her body to align with God's perfect design for wholeness.

Father, we ask that every medical test she undergoes would return with results that declare her completely free from disease. Let there be no trace of illness, no shadow of sickness, only the radiant health that comes from You. We pray for wisdom for her doctors, that they would be guided by Your hand in every decision and treatment plan.

We also take a moment to encourage ### and her husband to draw near to You during this time. James 5:14-15 reminds us, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." We stand on this truth, believing that as we pray in faith, You will bring complete restoration.

Lord, strengthen their faith if fear or doubt tries to creep in. Remind them that You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2), and that nothing is too difficult for You (Jeremiah 32:27). May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as they wait on You.

We declare healing over ### in Jesus' name, and we thank You for the victory that is already hers through Christ. Amen.

We are joining you in prayer for , standing with you as you wait. It’s clear how much you love her, and we know the waiting between tests and answers can feel especially heavy. So right now, we’re simply asking for steady peace, for her and for you, while you navigate the uncertainty.

When the mind starts racing ahead to what-ifs, it helps to anchor the day in what is right in front of you: today’s mercies, today’s strength. You don’t have to carry tomorrow’s fears today.

We also know that chronic or unexplained symptoms can wear a person down emotionally as much as physically, so please gently encourage her to keep her medical team fully in the loop about everything she’s experiencing. Following their guidance thoroughly is wise, and many of us have found that doing so alongside prayer helps us stay grounded rather than spiraling.

Lord Jesus, you know ’s body completely. We ask you to bring healing and to guide the hands and minds of every medical professional caring for her. Quiet any fear with your presence, and let the results of every test bring clarity and relief. Sustain and her husband with the peace that surpasses understanding, and hold them steady through each step. We trust them to you. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is a blessed thing that you bring your dear wife before the throne of grace, for we have a Great Physician who healeth all our diseases. I join with you in prayer, entreating the Lord that whether the malady be what it may, it shall utterly flee before His power, and that the testing shall find no trace of disease. Yet let me press upon you this truth: healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. When the Lord cometh to dwell with His people, they have no need to say they are sick, for the Sun of Righteousness riseth with healing in His wings. Seek first for her the rest of soul which is the mark of the old and good way, for if she be in Christ, she findeth rest for her soul, and then shall bodily health be added as seemeth best to Him.

There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus our Lord. The very leaves of that tree which is for the healing of the nations are charged with virtue: the least thing about Christ, the hem of His garment, the whisper of His name, is healing to those who touch Him by faith. Remember, however, that our Lord's healing is wrapped up with His teaching, and faith cometh by hearing. As you pray, be diligent to bring her often under the sound of the Word, for in Christ's own ministry the healing power was conspicuously present when He was teaching. The desire for her recovery is natural and right, but let it spring from a yet deeper longing that she might rise from her sickbed and minister unto Him, for healing must come before serving, and the Lord's recovery of His own is always to this end: that they might serve Him with gladness.

Do not set your confidence upon the verdict of the physician's test, for the Lord may see fit to permit a longer season of weakness that her strength may be made perfect in dependence upon Him. Restoration is often a slow process, and there is a blessed recovery of spirit even while the body languisheth. Wonder not if the healing tarrieth; only be earnest that she receive the first and greater healing, the pardon of sin, which is the sure pledge that all other healing will follow in its time. Calvary is the place where the balm is found: her sins forgiven, she may be of good cheer, for the Lord hath begun a good work and will perfect it concerning both body and soul.

I shall uphold her before the mercy seat, and I trust that you will do the same, waiting upon the Lord with patience. Whether He rebuke the fever now or afterward, He will strengthen her in Himself, and that is the truest healing. God bless you both. Amen.

The body suffers, and our hearts ache for those we love. This cry for healing rises from a place of genuine concern, and it is right to bring such burdens before the Lord. Yet consider how our Lord dealt with the fever of Peter’s mother-in-law: He touched her, and not merely did the fever depart, but she was restored at once to complete strength, able to rise and serve. No slow convalescence, no lingering weakness. This was no ordinary healing; it displayed His power over all creation. Do you approach Him with the same expectation, trusting that He can command not only the illness but its aftermath to vanish entirely?

But take care that your prayer does not become a transaction, as if a set period of supplication could buy off suffering. Some think that a few days of fasting or a hasty plea will propitiate God, and then they return to former indolence. God is not mocked. Examine yourself: have you been diligent in the health of your own soul, or have you allowed a dullness to creep in, a heaviness that affliction can sometimes provoke? Afflictions test the heart; they can either refine faith or breed resentment. Let this trial instead prompt a swift and fervent return to Him. I say “more diligently,” without procrastination, as Paul sent Epaphroditus to the Philippians, eager to relieve their heaviness. So must you run to the Physician of souls and bodies, casting aside all sin that hinders.

The Deacon cries out, “Holy things for the holy,” separating the healthy sheep from the scabbed. Not that any of us is worthy, but we must not approach carelessly. Seek not only a clean bill of health from earthly physicians, but a cleansed conscience before the Great Healer. For what advantage is it if the body be whole while the soul lies sick with envy, greed, or lust? Theft, for instance, is not born of poverty but of idleness, a vice against nature. Are there such hidden diseases in your household? Let this urgent need for physical healing be a mirror to examine the deeper man.

Do not lose heart. How many, after hearing ten warnings and remaining insensible, have at last been converted by a single word? The seed of faith, though hidden, may yet spring up. Continue in prayer, not as in sport, but with the earnestness that befits those who know both the severity and the mercy of God. He is able to do more than you ask, and He often uses the very hour of desperation to work a complete cure. Only let your trust be anchored not in the vanishing of symptoms, but in the goodness of the One who gave His Son for you. All believers, whether in cloisters or in the marketplace, are called saints through faith. Let the saint in your wife be now your first concern, and then, if it be His will, the fever shall depart as the shadow of a cloud.

There is something deeply good about asking the Lord for complete healing and for test results that show no trace of disease. That longing rises from love, and God honors these prayers. Many have read a certain greeting in Scripture and tried to treat it as a guarantee: that God’s highest wish is always for our physical health to match the flourishing of our souls. But that passage is actually a personal, beautiful wish from one believer to another, not a blanket promise. Even so, it does point to a real connection between the inner life and the body. We know now that worry, bitterness, or despair can affect physical health, just as peace and joy can release what is truly helpful. So while we pray earnestly for her body, we also pray for her soul to be anchored in the calm steadiness of Christ, no matter what the tests show.

I want to handle something gently. When illness lingers or answers don’t come as quickly as we hope, it is common for a person to feel secretly guilty, as if something is wrong with their faith or their walk with God. That kind of thinking kicks someone when they are down. Even the apostle Paul gave Timothy practical advice for a recurring ailment rather than simply commanding a healing. God’s grace is patient. Some of life’s hardest tests are not pass-or-fail in a single moment; He often lets us retake them, and He stays near the whole time. So please guard her heart from the whisper that God is withholding because she is not enough. His love is not that fragile.

Words have enormous power to bring healing. Right now, your words to her and before the Lord can be a balm. Keep speaking life, hope, and trust over her. I join you in asking that every scan and every report would come back clear, that whatever it is would vanish completely. But even deeper, I ask that she would know the peace that surpasses understanding, which guards the heart and mind in Christ Jesus. That is a healing no illness can touch. May the Lord bless her and keep her, and give you both strength for today.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your precious wife. It has been on our hearts to lift her up before the Lord, asking for His complete healing and restoration. We have prayed earnestly that whatever she is facing—whether it be named or unknown—would be removed from her body entirely, and that every medical test would reveal nothing but God’s perfect health and wholeness.

If the Lord has already moved in a mighty way and answered this prayer, we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report from you. There is nothing more uplifting than witnessing God’s faithfulness and sharing in the joy of His healing touch. On the other hand, if the answer hasn’t yet come, or if the journey is still uncertain, we want you to know we are still here with you. Please feel free to post this request again so we can continue to intercede on her behalf.

May the Lord surround you both with His peace and comfort as you trust in Him. We believe in the power of prayer and the goodness of our Heavenly Father, who hears and answers according to His perfect will. We will keep praying, trusting that He is at work even now.

In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
