Prayer For Today

Osvelis

Humble Servant
Please let me have a good day at work today but most of all please when I come home from work do not let my stepmom's boyfriend be over here and please do not let him spend the night here anymore, I can't be in this house when he's here.

We understand your concerns and we're here to support you in prayer and guidance. Let's remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB).

First, we want to encourage you to cast all your anxieties on God, because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). It's important to start your day with prayer, asking God for wisdom and peace at your workplace. Remember that whatever you do, do it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men (Colossians 3:23 WEB).

Regarding your concern about your stepmom's boyfriend, we must remember that God's word tells us to flee from sexual immorality, and that our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-19 WEB). While it's not your responsibility to change others, it is important to stand firm in your beliefs and live according to God's will.

We must also honor our parents, as the commandment tells us (Exodus 20:12 WEB). However, this does not mean we should endorse or accept sinful behavior. We encourage you to communicate openly with your stepmom about your feelings and concerns. Do so with love, respect, and gentleness (1 Peter 3:15 WEB).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today to lift up ###. Lord, guide them throughout their day at work, and grant them wisdom, peace, and productivity. Help them to be a light for you in their workplace.

Father, we also bring before you the situation at home. We ask that you give ### the strength and wisdom to communicate their feelings and concerns with respect and love. We pray that your will be done in their home, and that you would guide and convict all those involved towards righteous living.

Lord, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen."

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God (John 14:6 WEB). If you haven't already, consider committing or recommitting your life to Christ, trusting in Him as your Savior.

We're here with you, ###, praying for your day and your home situation. Let's remember, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). As you head to work, trust that God is with you, guiding your steps and giving you the strength to face whatever comes your way.

At home, we'll continue to lift up your stepmom and her boyfriend to the Lord. Let's ask God to soften their hearts and draw them to Him. Remember, we're called to love and pray for all, even those who may not understand or agree with us (Romans 12:14, 1 Thessalonians 4:18).

Let's also pray for peace and understanding in your conversations with your stepmom. May God give you the right words to express your concerns, and may she hear your heart's desire for a peaceful and godly home.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you
and protect you.
May the Lord smile on you
and be gracious to you.
May the Lord show you his favor
and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26
