Prayer for this person's salvation

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Lift this person in prayer for God's intervention and protection in their situation. I'm not 100% certain, but think they may have been dealing with Jezebel spirit as counterfeit person in their past and they are overcoming the effects of it. Pray for their strength, better mental health and salvation.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear soul who has endured the destructive influence of a Jezebel spirit, an insidious force of manipulation, control, and spiritual deception. Father God, we ask that You break every chain of bondage this spirit has woven into their life. We rebuke the lies, the fear, and the confusion it has sown, declaring in the mighty name of Jesus that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we pray for Your divine intervention to expose every remnant of this deception and uproot it completely from their mind, heart, and spirit.

Heavenly Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over their life, covering them in Your protection. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, to guard their steps and shield them from further harm (Psalm 91:11). We ask that You fill the void left by this spirit with Your peace, Your truth, and Your love. Restore their mental health, Lord, and heal the wounds of their past. Renew their mind with Your Word, that they may think and act according to Your will (Romans 12:2). Strengthen them in their weakness, for Your power is made perfect in our frailty (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Most of all, Father, we pray for their salvation. We do not know the state of their heart, but You do, and we ask that You draw them to Yourself with cords of love (Hosea 11:4). Open their eyes to see the truth of the Gospel, that Jesus Christ came into this world to save sinners (1 Timothy 1:15), that He died on the cross for their sins, and that by believing in Him, they may have eternal life (John 3:16). We pray that they would confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9). Let them experience the freedom and joy that comes only from a relationship with You.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for this person. May they be rooted and grounded in Your Word, able to test every spirit and hold fast to what is good (1 John 4:1). Raise up godly mentors and friends around them who will speak life, truth, and encouragement into their situation. Let them walk in the light of Your presence, free from the shadows of their past.

We declare that this person is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We stand in agreement with Your promise that He who began a good work in them will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). May they rise above every obstacle, every lie, and every attack of the enemy, walking in the fullness of the destiny You have prepared for them.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for bringing this loved one to prayer. We hear your care for them and your longing to see them protected, strengthened and truly come to know Jesus.

You mentioned wondering about a harmful past relationship and what you described as a Jezebel spirit, and that they are still working through the effects. It is understandable to want words for what has hurt them. We find it most steadying to keep our focus on Jesus himself, who is greater than any influence from the past, and to pray for their freedom, clarity and healing in Him rather than getting fixed on a label.

For both spiritual and mental health, faithful prayer and faithful presence matter most. If they are open to it, a gentle next step is to encourage them toward a trusted pastor for spiritual care and, for ongoing mental health needs, a qualified counselor or medical professional alongside prayer, not instead of it. You are doing good work simply by interceding and not carrying this burden alone, so remember to care for your own heart as well.

Father, we lift this dear one to You today. We ask for Your protection over them, for daily strength, and for healing in mind and heart. Draw them kindly to Yourself, open their eyes to Your love in Jesus, and lead them into wholeness and truth. Give wisdom and endurance to the one praying for them too. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have heard your burden and we join you in lifting this soul before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to work His gracious intervention and protection.

Human strength, as the Scripture reminds us, will spend itself in due time. Apart from God it is not strength at all and must come to an end. But the promise stands, they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. To those who have no might He increases strength. We have prayed that the Lord Himself will strengthen this one for whom you intercede, that in waiting upon Him there may be a renewal of heart and mind, a quieting of troubled thoughts, and a soundness and peace which only Christ can give. What is needed is not mere animal strength or mental power alone, but to be strengthened with strength in the Lord, for Jehovah is our strength and our song and He also has become our salvation.

Above all we pray for salvation, for there is no other name under heaven whereby we must be saved. The way of salvation is plain and simple, Look unto me and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, and whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed. It is not to look to our own feelings or works, but to look to Christ, to trust in Him, to depend upon Him without fear for present and eternal salvation. God has found a ransom, and He has provided deliverance through the Lamb slain. Salvation is all of grace, and when He brings forth a soul, that deliverance is accompanied with health and strength, for there was not one feeble person among His tribes when He brought them out.

We therefore pray in this manner. O Lord God, look in mercy upon this one who is yet outside Thy saving grace. Thou seest the wounds and effects of past deceit and harmful influences, every counterfeit and cruel thing that has left its mark. Bring true deliverance, for Thou alone canst deliver from worse enemies than any earthly foe. Draw this soul to look unto Jesus and live, to believe on Him with the heart unto salvation. Grant repentance and faith, wash in the blood of Christ, and make a new creature. In Thy kindness grant also renewed strength, a steadied mind, and protection from every evil influence, that waiting upon Thee, strength may be renewed and the joy of the Lord may be known. Keep and guard, and lead into fellowship with Jesus, who is the well of salvation from which we joyfully draw living water.

We will continue to wait upon the Lord with you for this soul, believing that what He has promised He is able also to perform, and that He will be found of them that seek Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in lifting this person before the Lord and thank you for bringing this burden to prayer.

We pray that God in His mercy will draw this person to salvation through Jesus Christ alone, that they would come to know Him as Savior and Lord, receive the forgiveness of sins and the new life He alone gives, and be delivered from all that has bound or confused them in the past. We ask that the Lord will protect them, guard their mind and heart, and grant strength for each day as they overcome the effects of past harmful influences and counterfeit relationships.

We pray for healing and better mental health, for peace instead of turmoil, for clarity instead of confusion, and for a sound mind rooted in truth. May God comfort them in affliction, sustain them by His Spirit, and lead them into fellowship where they can hear the gospel clearly, grow in faith, and be supported with wise counsel and loving community.

We ask that God will reveal what is true and what is false, help them to turn from all that harms the soul, and make them whole in Christ. May they experience His deliverance, His kindness, and the hope of eternal life, and may they learn to walk in holiness and in dependence on Him.

We will continue to pray with you for God's gracious intervention, for protection, for strength, and above all for their salvation.

We are joining you in prayer for this person and thank you for bringing this burden before the Lord. God hears the prayers of His people and His desire is that none should perish but that all should come to repentance, and Scripture tells us that now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation.

Our first and greatest prayer is for salvation through Jesus Christ alone. True hope is not found in any past religious experience or good work or anything else, but only in a living relationship with Jesus. The natural person is born with body and soul ruling, and the spirit is dead toward God, so there is no fellowship with Him. Jesus said God is spirit and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth. When a person is born again by the Spirit of God, the spirit is made alive and brought to its rightful place. Then the Spirit of God bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and those who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. We are praying that this person will confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh, that they will confess Jesus as Lord by the Holy Spirit, and receive the forgiveness and new life that God freely gives.

We also pray for God's intervention and protection and for discernment. The Bible tells us to not believe every spirit but to test the spirits to see whether they are from God, and every spirit that confesses Jesus is from God. There is a spirit of the world which is a spirit of rebellion against God, and there is the Spirit of God which reveals to us the deep things of God, His love, His redemption and His righteousness by faith. We pray that God will guard this person from every counterfeit and deceptive influence from the past, that any confusion or bondage would be broken, and that the Holy Spirit who searches all things would give clarity, truth and freedom. We pray that this person would learn to walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the desires of the flesh, for the flesh and the spirit are contrary to one another and are at war within us, but by the Spirit we can put to death the deeds of the flesh and live.

We pray too for strength and for better mental health. God cares for the whole person, spirit, soul and body. The apostle John prayed that we would prosper and be in good health even as our soul prospers, showing the connection God has made between our inner life and our outer health. We are learning more and more how closely our mental well being and our physical health are tied together, and how attitudes can affect the body. When the spirit is made alive and is uppermost, ruled and led by the Holy Spirit, the mind is set on the things of the Spirit and can know peace. To be spiritually minded is life and peace. We pray that as this person's soul prospers through knowing Christ, their mind would be renewed and strengthened, that anxiety and the lingering effects of past harm would be healed, and that they would be filled, led and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

So we pray, Father, in the name of Jesus, draw this person to Yourself. Open their heart to receive Your grace and not to receive it in vain. Make their spirit alive through the new birth, forgive their sin through the cross, and let Your Holy Spirit bear witness with their spirit that they are Your child. Protect them from every evil influence, surround them with Your care, give them strength for each day, and bring healing to their mind and body. Teach them to walk in the Spirit, to sow to the Spirit and reap everlasting life, and to know the things You have freely given us in Christ. Amen.
