Prayer for this person's salvation

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Lift this person in prayer for God's intervention and protection in their situation. I'm not 100% certain, but think they may have been dealing with Jezebel spirit as counterfeit person in their past and they are overcoming the effects of it. Pray for their strength, better mental health and salvation.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear soul who has endured the destructive influence of a Jezebel spirit, an insidious force of manipulation, control, and spiritual deception. Father God, we ask that You break every chain of bondage this spirit has woven into their life. We rebuke the lies, the fear, and the confusion it has sown, declaring in the mighty name of Jesus that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we pray for Your divine intervention to expose every remnant of this deception and uproot it completely from their mind, heart, and spirit.

Heavenly Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over their life, covering them in Your protection. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, to guard their steps and shield them from further harm (Psalm 91:11). We ask that You fill the void left by this spirit with Your peace, Your truth, and Your love. Restore their mental health, Lord, and heal the wounds of their past. Renew their mind with Your Word, that they may think and act according to Your will (Romans 12:2). Strengthen them in their weakness, for Your power is made perfect in our frailty (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Most of all, Father, we pray for their salvation. We do not know the state of their heart, but You do, and we ask that You draw them to Yourself with cords of love (Hosea 11:4). Open their eyes to see the truth of the Gospel, that Jesus Christ came into this world to save sinners (1 Timothy 1:15), that He died on the cross for their sins, and that by believing in Him, they may have eternal life (John 3:16). We pray that they would confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9). Let them experience the freedom and joy that comes only from a relationship with You.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for this person. May they be rooted and grounded in Your Word, able to test every spirit and hold fast to what is good (1 John 4:1). Raise up godly mentors and friends around them who will speak life, truth, and encouragement into their situation. Let them walk in the light of Your presence, free from the shadows of their past.

We declare that this person is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We stand in agreement with Your promise that He who began a good work in them will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). May they rise above every obstacle, every lie, and every attack of the enemy, walking in the fullness of the destiny You have prepared for them.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for bringing this loved one to prayer. We hear your care for them and your longing to see them protected, strengthened and truly come to know Jesus.

You mentioned wondering about a harmful past relationship and what you described as a Jezebel spirit, and that they are still working through the effects. It is understandable to want words for what has hurt them. We find it most steadying to keep our focus on Jesus himself, who is greater than any influence from the past, and to pray for their freedom, clarity and healing in Him rather than getting fixed on a label.

For both spiritual and mental health, faithful prayer and faithful presence matter most. If they are open to it, a gentle next step is to encourage them toward a trusted pastor for spiritual care and, for ongoing mental health needs, a qualified counselor or medical professional alongside prayer, not instead of it. You are doing good work simply by interceding and not carrying this burden alone, so remember to care for your own heart as well.

Father, we lift this dear one to You today. We ask for Your protection over them, for daily strength, and for healing in mind and heart. Draw them kindly to Yourself, open their eyes to Your love in Jesus, and lead them into wholeness and truth. Give wisdom and endurance to the one praying for them too. In Jesus' name, amen.

Praying for your request and you

Psalm 100:4
4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and his name.
Mathew 5:44
But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you
1 Peter 4:8

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
Luke 10:27

He answered, Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.
Mathew 7:1-3

7 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
Isaiah 54:17a
No weapon formed against you shall prosper
Mathew 18:20
20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.

We have heard your burden and we join you in lifting this soul before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to work His gracious intervention and protection.

Human strength, as the Scripture reminds us, will spend itself in due time. Apart from God it is not strength at all and must come to an end. But the promise stands, they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. To those who have no might He increases strength. We have prayed that the Lord Himself will strengthen this one for whom you intercede, that in waiting upon Him there may be a renewal of heart and mind, a quieting of troubled thoughts, and a soundness and peace which only Christ can give. What is needed is not mere animal strength or mental power alone, but to be strengthened with strength in the Lord, for Jehovah is our strength and our song and He also has become our salvation.

Above all we pray for salvation, for there is no other name under heaven whereby we must be saved. The way of salvation is plain and simple, Look unto me and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, and whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed. It is not to look to our own feelings or works, but to look to Christ, to trust in Him, to depend upon Him without fear for present and eternal salvation. God has found a ransom, and He has provided deliverance through the Lamb slain. Salvation is all of grace, and when He brings forth a soul, that deliverance is accompanied with health and strength, for there was not one feeble person among His tribes when He brought them out.

We therefore pray in this manner. O Lord God, look in mercy upon this one who is yet outside Thy saving grace. Thou seest the wounds and effects of past deceit and harmful influences, every counterfeit and cruel thing that has left its mark. Bring true deliverance, for Thou alone canst deliver from worse enemies than any earthly foe. Draw this soul to look unto Jesus and live, to believe on Him with the heart unto salvation. Grant repentance and faith, wash in the blood of Christ, and make a new creature. In Thy kindness grant also renewed strength, a steadied mind, and protection from every evil influence, that waiting upon Thee, strength may be renewed and the joy of the Lord may be known. Keep and guard, and lead into fellowship with Jesus, who is the well of salvation from which we joyfully draw living water.

We will continue to wait upon the Lord with you for this soul, believing that what He has promised He is able also to perform, and that He will be found of them that seek Him.
