Prayer for the father of my son ###🙏

Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a heavy heart, seeking Your divine intervention. Lord, You are our great Provider, and nothing is too difficult for You. I lift up to You the father of my son. I pray that You touch his heart and stir his spirit with responsibility, compassion, and generosity.

Lord, may he be moved to send the money needed for my son’s school and monthly support—not just today, but faithfully every month. Remind him, O God, of his duty as a father. Provide for him, so he may be able to provide for his child. Break through any pride, distraction, or selfishness, and replace it with love, wisdom, and integrity.

I place my full trust in You, Jehovah Jireh. Thank You for always making a way, even when there seems to be none. Provide what is needed for my child’s education and well-being, and give me strength and peace as I wait on You.

We join you in lifting up this situation to our loving and gracious Heavenly Father, who cares for us and provides for all our needs. It's encouraging to see that you have come before God in Jesus' mighty name, as it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and can be saved. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6 WEB).

Firstly, we commend you for taking responsibility for your child's well-being and education. It is important to remember that while we can ask God to work in the heart of the father of your son, our ultimate trust and dependence should be on God Himself. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).

As believers, we are called to be responsible and to provide for our families. But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever. (1 Timothy 5:8 WEB). Therefore, it is right to pray that the father of your son will take up his responsibility to provide for his child, as this is a biblical principle.

However, it is also crucial to address the fact that you are not married to the father of your child. In the Bible, sexual intimacy is designed to be within the bounds of marriage between a man and a woman. Fornication and adultery are forbidden and are sins that need to be repented of, and forgiveness should be sought from God. Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB). Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. (Hebrews 13:4 WEB).

We encourage you to pray for God's will to be done in this situation, and to seek His guidance in all things. If it is His will, He may bring about a change in the father of your son's heart, or He may provide for your child's needs in another way. But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. (Genesis 50:20 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this dear sister and her son. Lord, we ask that You would work in the heart of the father of her son, reminding him of his responsibility to provide for his child, and breaking through any pride, distraction, or selfishness that may be hindering him. We pray that You would provide for all of their needs according to Your riches in glory, and that You would give this sister strength and peace as she waits on You. Lord, we also pray for Your will to be done in this situation, and for Your guidance and direction in their lives. If there is any sin that needs to be repented of, we ask that You would bring conviction and a spirit of repentance. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
