🙇🏻 Prayer for Strength to Endure Coming Storms Lk21:36, Fruitfully Abiding in Him Jn15:7-8, Prepared for Birth Pangs Mt24:8 of New Creation Heb12:2

Beloved
📖 “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. Luke 21:33. "For all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs, Mt 24:8.

Matt 24:8-14, "And Jesus answered and said to them, 'See to it that no one misleads you. For many will come in My name, saying, "I am the Christ," and will mislead many. You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs. Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another. Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved. And this Gospel of The Kingdom shall be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the people groups, and then the end shall come," Mt 24:8-14.

Luke 21:34-36, “So be on guard, so that your hearts will not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that day will not come on you suddenly like a trap; for it will come upon all those who dwell on the face of all the earth. But keep on the alert at all times, 🙏 praying that you may have STRENGTH to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

🙇🏻 Father, thank You for telling us these things through Your Son before they take place, so that while they are occurring, we may be believing, John 14:29. We know that everything that can be shaken will be shaken -- heaven, earth, sea, dry land and all nations, Hag 4:6-7 -- so that the things which cannot be shaken will remain, Heb 12:27, Therefore, since we are receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us be filled with gratitude, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for You are a consuming fire, Heb 12:28. As things shift in our personal lives and on a global scale, we ask for daily bread, Matt 6:11, for connection to Jesus, John 15:1-5, our Beloved, who is like a bundle of myrrh through the night who warms our hearts, Song 1:13, and for strength to ensure not only these trials with joy, Matt 5:12, James 1:2-3, but persecutions, famines, perils, wars and rumors of wars, even earthquakes in various places, storms of life and real storms on earth, knowing that no created thing can keep us from the uncreated love of God in Christ Jesus Our Lord, Rom 8:35, for Jesus is risen and ascended and at Your Right Hand of Power, making intercession for us, Rom 8:34, praying our faith will not fail, that we stay connected to Him (and therefore to all the other branches that are connected to The Vine, John 15:1-5, and once we turn to You, not only is the veil is taken away, 2 Cor 3:16, so that with unveiled face we may be transformed from glory to glory, from the work of The Lord The Holy Spirit, 2 Cor 3:18, so that we may from that position of refreshing by abiding in Your presence, Acts 3:19, bear fruit, John 15:7-8, and strengthen others, Lk 22:32, introducing them to Christ's love through the ministry of reconciliation as Ambassadors of The New Creation, 2 Cor 5:14-21.

But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the (uncreated) love of God, which is being in Christ Jesus our Lord, Rom 8:27-29.

🧎🏻We ask these things in accordance Your will, Matt 12:50, which is Your Word, Luke 8:21, knowing that is what You hear, and when You hear, we have the requests we've asked, 1 Jn 5:14-15. With thanksgiving we make these requests known, Phil 4:6, thanking You in advance, Mk 11:24, with the promise that the peace of God which passes all comprehension will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:7. Thank You again in Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14, The Amen, The Faithful Witness and Originator of This New Creation, Rev 3:14, in whom all the promises of God are Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20. 🙌

We stand with you in this hour, lifting our voices together in agreement with the truth of God’s Word. The signs of the times are unmistakable, wars, rumors of wars, famines, earthquakes, and the love of many growing cold, yet we do not shrink back in fear. Instead, we fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who has forewarned us so that we may stand firm in His strength.

You have rightly declared the unshakable nature of God’s kingdom and the certainty of His promises. Heaven and earth will pass away, but His Word remains forever. The birth pangs of this age are not the end but the beginning of the new creation, where righteousness dwells. We take heart in the assurance that nothing, no trial, no persecution, no storm, can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. He is our refuge, our strong tower, and our ever-present help in trouble.

Yet we must also heed the warning to remain vigilant. The cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the pleasures of life can weigh down our hearts if we are not watchful. We must guard against complacency, drunkenness (whether literal or spiritual), and the anxieties that choke out our faith. Instead, let us abide in Christ, the True Vine, drawing our strength and sustenance from Him alone. As we remain connected to Him, we will bear much fruit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, evidence of the Holy Spirit’s work within us.

We rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to paralyze God’s people. The enemy may roar like a lion, but we resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. We also rebuke the deception of false prophets and false christs who would lead many astray. The Word of God is our plumb line, and we must test every spirit against it, holding fast to what is true.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that Your Word will never pass away. As the storms of life and the birth pangs of this age intensify, we ask for strength to endure, to stand firm, and to remain unshaken. Fill us afresh with Your Holy Spirit, that we may abide in Christ and bear fruit that glorifies You. Guard our hearts from the distractions and deceptions of this world, and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the Pioneer and Perfecter of our faith.

Lord, we declare that we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. No weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment, we condemn in the name of Jesus. Strengthen us to pray without ceasing, to love without hypocrisy, and to walk in the light as You are in the light. May we be found faithful when Christ returns, standing before the Son of Man with confidence, not fear.

We pray for those who are weak in faith, that You would strengthen them. For those who are weary, that You would renew their strength. For those who are deceived, that You would open their eyes to the truth. And for those who do not yet know You, that they would be drawn to the light of the Gospel before it is too late.

Father, we thank You that in Christ, all Your promises are "Yes" and "Amen." We trust in Your unfailing love and Your sovereign plan. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Let us encourage one another with these words: "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing" (1 Thessalonians 5:11). As we face the trials ahead, let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. The night is far spent; the day is at hand. Let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light, walking as children of the day, not of the night. Maranatha, come, Lord Jesus!

We hear the ache and the longing in your prayer, the weight of living between the groaning of this age and the unshakable kingdom to come. It is a holy tension, and we are moved by how your heart clings to Christ’s words and to the Vine Himself.

What strikes us is that many of the very passages you are praying are acts of abiding already in motion. When Jesus told us to be on guard and to pray for strength, He wasn’t giving us a distant strategy; He was inviting us into the only place where endurance is actually forged, close, unadorned communion with Him. That you are pouring out these scriptures before the Father is not a mere preparation for the storms; it is the storm-tested discipline that roots you, however quietly, in the peace that surpasses understanding.

We want to offer a small, concrete encouragement. As you continue, consider taking just one of the promises you have spoken, perhaps the image of being held within the uncreated love of God from Romans 8, or the bundle of myrrh who warms the heart from Song of Songs, and carry it with you in stillness for a few minutes each morning. Not to study it, but to let it rest on you like a warmth against the chill of everything that can be shaken. That simple practice of biblical meditation often becomes a quiet anchor, especially when the news or our own thoughts grow loud.

It is also worth remembering: we do not endure alone. The prayer you have written is not going unheard in an empty room. Others are standing with you, even when you cannot see them, and Christ Himself ever lives to intercede.

We pray with you now.

Father, thank You that even as the world trembles, Your words do not pass away. Hold this dear child of Yours close to the heartbeat of Jesus. When weariness or fear presses in, renew the strength that comes only from abiding in the Vine. Let the reality of an unshakable kingdom become more vivid than any headline or heartache. In every birth pang, personal or global, give courage that is not their own, and let fruit grow where the world sees only upheaval. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our risen and returning King. Amen.

The heart set upon the things that cannot be shaken learns to read the tremblings of the earth not as tokens of final ruin, but as the quiverings of a new creation struggling to be born. All that He spoke stands fast, and because His word abides, we have a lantern for the thick darkness and a cordial for the faintness that creeps over the soul when the foundations of the visible are loosed. There is a strange mercy in being told beforehand that the tempests must rise, for the warning kills the surprise and turns the thunderclap into a father’s voice. These are but the beginning of birth pangs, and every pang drives the whole company of the elect nearer to the manifestation of the sons of God. The creature itself groans, but the groan is not the death rattle of despair; it is the deep heave of maternity, and we who have the firstfruits of the Spirit groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption.

Yet this waiting is no idle posture, no sleepy folding of the hands. The life that is in Christ Jesus is a life that must be lived out amid the storms. Our Master would not suffer Himself to be shielded from the lowest step of misery; He put away the myrrhed cup that would have dulled the smart, because He was determined to go the whole way, to drain the appointed cup to the dregs, and so to perfect His sympathy and finish His work. The servant is not above his Lord. If we ask for strength to endure, we ask for something better than a softening of the blast; we ask for the inward buttress that holds the wall firm when the wind buffets it. This strength is the fruit of union, of the branch abiding in the Vine, of the life that is hid with Christ in God. Apart from Him, we can do nothing; joined to Him, the very tribulation works patience, and patience experience, and experience a hope that maketh not ashamed because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost.

There is a mystery here, a sweet and terrible mystery. The same Christ who was bound with cords that He might loose us from the bands of death, the same who was thrust into the manger because there was no room for Him in the inn, comes now to make His abode in the hearts of those who will receive Him. Christ in you, the hope of glory. That is the kernel of the whole matter. When He has taken up His dwelling within, the outward storms only beat against the casement but cannot chill the Guest within the house. The soul learns to walk with God in a dear, habitual, intimate, and joyous communion. The will is bowed till it moves only as it is moved upon, and the peace that passeth understanding mounts guard over the heart. This is the secret of fruitfulness. In the heat of the day the branch does not strain and sweat to produce its clusters; it simply abides in the vine, draws up the fatness, and in due season the ripe fruit hangs upon it. So the believer, surrounded by tumult, quietens his spirit, looks away from the visible fray, and fixes his gaze upon the Author and Finisher of his faith. He prays, but his praying is the breath of that indwelling life, the simple turning of the heart's tendril towards the true sun.

Let no created thing, however howling its rage or gloomy its shadow, persuade you that it can wedge itself between your soul and the uncreated love that is in Christ Jesus. Not height, not depth, not things present, not things to come. This is the inheritance of all who are in Him. The world’s hatred must come, for the disciple is not above his Master, but the hatred is a testimony that we belong to Him; and the endurance to the end is not a gritting of the teeth in our own frail resolution, but the inevitable, sweet outcome of His life pulsing within us. Because He lives, we live also, and shall live forever. Keep on the alert, then, with that holy alertness that is not the nervous skittishness of fear, but the bright-eyed watchfulness of those who look for the morning. Strengthen the feeble knees, lift up the hands that hang down, and go onward, for you are partakers of a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and even now you stand before the Son of Man, accepted in the Beloved.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
