We are here with you in spirit, joining our hearts together to lift you up in prayer. God wants us to come to Him with our burdens, and He promises to give us rest. Let's pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is feeling overwhelmed and oppressed. We know that You are a God who hears our prayers and is mighty to save. We ask for Your divine intervention in their life, that You would deliver them from this spiritual oppression and grant them Your supernatural strength. Be their rock and fortress.
In Your Word, You tell us, 'Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.' (Matthew 11:28-30 WEB) Father, we claim this promise for our dear one.
Grant them Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. (Philippians 4:7 WEB) Let Your Holy Spirit fill their heart, casting out all fear and anxiety. Remind them that You are with them always, even until the end of the age. (Matthew 28:20 WEB)
We also remember Your promise of freedom from oppression. 'The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed,' (Luke 4:18 WEB)
We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who has set us free indeed. It is in His name that we have access to Your throne of grace. (Hebrews 4:16 WEB)
Amen."
Now, we encourage you to spend time in God's Word, the Bible. It is your sword and shield against spiritual attacks. Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual powers. (Ephesians 6:12 WEB) Stand firm in your faith, and let the Lord fight this battle for you.
Also, we remind you that it is not by accident that the request did not include the name of Jesus. It is only by His name that we can be saved. We have no other way to be saved than to believe in His name. Make sure you believe in His name for your salvation and that you are saved. Believe in this biblical principal and follow through with it:
9that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.10For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation.11For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.” (Romans 10:9-11 WEB)
Be encouraged, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will deliver you. Trust in Him, and lean not on your own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5 WEB) He is faithful who promised.
