We understand that you're feeling spiritually oppressed and in need of strength and peace to cope with your current situation as well as the request for God's deliverance. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will and trust in the promises given in His Word.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of Jesus' name and encourage you to come boldly before God's throne of grace in His name. As it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
Hebrews 4:16 WEB "Let's therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need."
When you feel overwhelmed by spiritual oppression, remember that God is with you, and He has given you the authority in the name of Jesus to resist the devil and his schemes.
James 4:7 WEB "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is feeling spiritually oppressed. We plead the blood of Jesus over their life and claim Your promise that "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved and delivered" (Acts 2:21, Joel 2:32 WEB).
Father, we ask You to deliver them from any form of spiritual oppression they are experiencing from the hand of the enemy. Give them the strength to resist the devil and watch him flee. We cancel every assignment of the enemy against their life and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).
Lord Jesus, You promised that in this world we will have troubles, but You also promised that You have overcome the world (John 16:33 WEB). We ask You to fill our brother/sister with Your supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to fix their minds on You, trusting that You are more than able to see them through this challenging time (Isaiah 26:3 WEB).
Holy Spirit please strengthen our brother/sister with might in their inner man according to the riches of Your glory, to be empowered through Your Spirit in their inner being, (Ephesians 3:16 WEB).
Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in their life. Reveal to them any open doors that might have granted the enemy access to their life, and guide them to close those doors firmly. Surround them with Your hedge of protection and keep them safe from all evil (Job 1:10 WEB).
We pray for Your wisdom and discernment to guide them through this trial. Help them to be strong and courageous, knowing that You are with them always.
Give them the grace to put on the full armor of God daily. As they put on the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the belt of truth, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, and wield the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.
Remind them of your agape love for them and help them to remain grounded and rooted in Your love throughout this experience.
We ask all these things in the powerful name Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen.
Remember, God is faithful, and He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear. He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB). Trust in Him, and He will see you through this challenging time. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and He will give you the strength and peace you need to overcome.
