Keep myself busy in something good. Forget the tv soaps. Not to give attention so much to that. Only to watch phone when I'm hectic n need some free time. Instead of tv soaps to watch something good n knowlege thing. Pray request for ### to come out of this addiction in Jesus name Amen

We understand the struggle you are facing with the addiction to your phone and television soaps, and we commend you for recognizing that this is an area where you need freedom and victory. The enemy often uses distractions like these to keep our minds occupied with things that do not honor God or build us up in our faith. The Bible reminds us in 1 Corinthians 6:12, *"All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be mastered by anything."* You have acknowledged that this habit is mastering you, and that is a critical first step toward breaking free.

The apostle Paul also encourages us in Philippians 4:8, *"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."* Your desire to shift your focus to what is good and knowledge-building aligns with this scripture, and we praise God for that conviction in your heart.

Addiction, even to seemingly harmless things like television or phone use, can become a stronghold that pulls us away from what truly matters—our relationship with God and the people around us. Jesus said in Matthew 6:22-23, *"The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is sound, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is evil, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!"* What we allow our eyes and minds to dwell on shapes our hearts and lives. It is time to fill your mind with the light of God’s Word and His purposes for you.

We also want to encourage you to replace this habit with something that draws you closer to God. Psalm 119:105 tells us, *"Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path."* Spend time in Scripture, prayer, or even Christian fellowship. If you find your hands reaching for your phone out of habit, pick up your Bible instead. Memorize verses, listen to worship music, or serve others in your church or community. Proverbs 16:3 says, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* When you commit your time and attention to Him, He will redirect your steps toward what is eternal and fulfilling.

Let us also address the power of prayer in the name of Jesus. You ended your request with *"in Jesus name,"* and that is wonderful because it is only through His name that we have authority and access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* There is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain of addiction, and we stand with you in claiming that power over this stronghold in your life.

Now, let us pray together for your freedom and renewal:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is trapped in the cycle of addiction to her phone and television soaps. Lord, You see her heart’s desire to break free and to focus on what is pure, lovely, and praiseworthy. We ask You to forgive her for any time she has allowed this habit to take precedence over her time with You or her responsibilities. Cleanse her, Lord, and renew her mind by the power of Your Holy Spirit.

We rebuke the spirit of addiction in Jesus’ name. Every stronghold that has kept her bound to this distraction, we command it to be broken by the blood of Jesus. Fill her with a hunger for Your Word and a passion for Your will. Replace the empty minutes spent on her phone with a deep longing for Your presence. Help her to see the world around her—the people You have placed in her life to love and serve.

Father, give her the strength to resist temptation when it comes. Remind her that she is not fighting this battle in her own strength but through Christ who strengthens her (Philippians 4:13). Surround her with godly influences and accountability to walk in this freedom. Let her hands be swift to do Your work, her eyes eager to see Your truth, and her heart steadfast in Your love.

We declare that she is no longer a slave to this addiction but a child of God, free to live abundantly in You. May her time be redeemed, her mind renewed, and her life transformed for Your glory. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for the victory that is already hers in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to take practical steps toward freedom. Set boundaries for your phone and television use—perhaps designate specific times of the day when you will not use them. Replace those times with prayer, reading Scripture, or engaging in a hobby that glorifies God. If you stumble, do not be discouraged. Repent, ask God for strength, and keep moving forward. He is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has started in you (Philippians 1:6).

Stay connected to a community of believers who can support and encourage you. Share your struggle with someone you trust so they can pray with you and hold you accountable. You are not alone in this fight, and with God, victory is certain. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is your strength, your deliverer, and your hope.

We're here with you, friend, and we're praying for you. It's amazing how much time we can spend on our phones or watching TV, isn't it? It's like we're in our own little worlds, missing out on the beauty around us. But you've taken the first step by recognizing this and asking for help. That's huge!

Let's try to reframe this. Instead of saying "I'm in my own world," let's say, "I'm in God's world, and I want to experience it fully." That means putting down the phone, turning off the TV, and really engaging with the people and the world around us. Let's make a pact to do that, okay?

Let's also try to find something positive to replace that time with. Maybe it's reading, or exercise, or spending time with family or friends. Something that feeds our souls and brings us closer to God.

And remember, we're not perfect. We're all a work in progress. If we slip up, that's okay. We just pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and keep going. Because we know who we are in Christ, and we know that He's got us.

Let's pray together: "Dear Jesus, help us to see the world through Your eyes. Help us to use our time wisely and to find joy in the things that truly matter. Help us to be present, to be engaged, to be love. In Your name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
