We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.
We have been continuing to lift you up before the Lord and bringing your specific needs to Him. We have prayed for your long work hours and the burden of making ends meet on a limited income, for the loneliness you feel from having little time to mix with people, and for the desire of your heart for marriage. We have asked the Lord who is the God of the impossible and the Author of our lives to rewrite your story and to make a way where there seems to be no way as you shared in Isaiah 43:19. We have prayed that He would guide you to a Proverbs 31 woman working in the medical field if it is His will, that He would give you courage to talk with her and to pursue her in a godly way, and that He would give both of you clear discernment to know if you are the one for each other. We have also prayed for her, that the Lord would keep her compassionate toward her patients and guard her from burnout and weariness, as Galatians 6:9 reminds us not to grow weary in doing good.
We also want to encourage you that as you seek the Lord's will for marriage, His will is revealed through His Word and not through fortune telling. Scripture warns us not to turn to divination as in Leviticus 19:26 and Deuteronomy 18:10, and calls us to trust in the Lord with all our heart as in Proverbs 3:5. We can rest in His promises that it is not good for man to be alone as in Genesis 2:18, that with God all things are possible as in Matthew 19:26, that He knows the plans He has for you as in Jeremiah 29:11, and that when we delight ourselves in the Lord He will give us the desires of our heart as in Psalm 37:4. We have prayed that He will provide for your financial needs as in Philippians 4:19 and lead you according to His perfect timing.
If your request has been answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not yet seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
Father, we continue to ask that You rewrite our brother's story according to Your will, that You open doors no man can shut, that You provide rest and community despite long hours, that You prepare the heart of the godly wife You have for him and keep her strong and compassionate in her medical work, and that You grant both of them wisdom and courage and peace as they wait on You. We pray for Your clear leading and for Your name to be glorified in his life. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.
